  2. Also, Last time I looked, the league table according to lawro's predictions had QPR challenging for the champions league. He is an embarrassment. No doubt the BBC are paying him (tens of?) thousands a week for his expert input.
  3. League 1?? I'm sure he wouldn't consider most of the clubs in the championship. His record his amazing. Leeds is just about good enough but could do better I'm sure.
  4. Found this one too
  5. cant reveal my sources should know by the end of the week at the latest.
  6. Plus resale value plummeting
  7. No reason other than not owning the rights to do this, probably (don't sky have them for their football first?). I particularly enjoyed lineker's mumbled "and southampton are doing well" which represented the analysis of our performance. Sounded like he remembered we had lost our last match half way through the sentence.
  8. We weren't promoted to div 1 with them. We were relegated with them in 73/74 and our two most recent relegations. If fact, we have not been relegated without Norwich for over 50 years. Spooky. And therefore good to see them doing ok this season.
  9. Without the two "gazza*****rs" we would have had five wins in the last 6.
  10. Can you accept a standard which is not acceptable?
  11. If we don't get a ticket how are we supposed to know how much of the price is the ticket price, how much is the 'ticket tax' and therefore how mad to get about the latter?
  12. Fortunately the run in is a doodle. A quick study of the fixture list before the season started suggested a very difficult start followed by a relatively easy run of fixtures in November and December with a good chance to put some points on the board. Then another difficult couple of months and a surprisingly straightforward run in. Amazingly, in practice the very difficult start coincided with NA making a number of errors which were clearly identifiable by some of our expert posters, whilst the easier run of fixtures has seen him learning from his mistakes (no doubt having read what he should have been doing on here). Stand by for more "errors of management" to be identified in January and February, from our double promotion winning genius of a manager.
  13. It was a disgrace. And he was very good today IMO
  14. If the team don't follow your instruction, behead the captain to install some discipline. Sun Tzu, Art of War.
  15. Great draw. Can't believe some of the reaction. Outside chance of a famous win and, if not, can focus on staying in the prem.
  16. I am able to confirm that Lancashire is a terrible analogy.

  18. Just imagine what that would have been like. We could have been relegated twice and in administration by the then of the five years.......
  19. If I remember, Shilts would contestant lay be bellowing either "away", "tight" or "time" in the defenders ears, on continuous loop.
  20. Just need a centre back and a left back in January and we will be comfortable mid table. What are Calum davenport and Olivier Bernard up to?
  21. Think Lambo's 26 in a row might be a Saints record - seem to remember MLT's miss was around his 23rd so he wouldn't have had 26 in a row.
  22. My memory could be playing tricks on me but the last time we beat villa 4 1 did a villa fan dressed at batman attempt to punch Dave beasant?
  23. Most of this is from the arsenal pre match press conference on saints player. Nigel Adkins was excellent. Really positive about the whole set up. Very interesting stuff.
  24. Got to be the '84 semi. The cup was as good as ours. We were MILES better than all the other teams left in it, with an outside chance of the double. I think Shilts said the ball hit a divot. Wasn't Bailey playing for them too who had a bit of history from our Div 2 days v Blackburn? We played them back at the Dell (I think) the next week and took them to the cleaners too.
