  1. Billy Sharp hits a hat-trick in his last game for Doncaster Rovers. https://www.facebook.com/tntsportsfootball/posts/billy-sharp-has-now-scored-a-football-league-hat-trick-in-his-teens-20s-30s-40st/1532853538204412/
  2. It's "in the opinion of the referee" so not actually a mistake. VAR is supposedly not there to re-referee the game so not a mistake by them either. VAR is not some court of appeal and in theory is only there to try to prevent the howlers. We all have our opinions as to how that's working out.
  3. It was the referee who decided to give it. Very generous in my opinion.
  4. I don't think you'll find that I've ever described him as decent. Just not as bad as everyone likes to make out. Regarding Scienza, he does like to throw himself to the ground quite a bit.
  5. Tuesday 12:30pm for members. Isn't it?
  6. Moderately. Touch and go.
  7. It wasn't bad luck it was an inevitability. Their goalkeeper spots an opportunity and takes it. I don't know why you need to mention Baz every time, but for all his faults getting caught in no man's land isn't one of them. Imagine if Peretz had been in goal.
  8. Mine's an Ampex VR1000A. I once met Charlie Ginsburg many years ago. The recorders were developed for time shifting for the North American TV companies and their estimate at that time of the world market was no more than a handful of machines.
  9. Is there any announcement about schedule of sale? Asking for a close friend.
  10. But this us exactly the point. It wasn't a freak. He got caught out at Wembley too. The slip wasn't bad luck. He was caught miles out of position and couldn't get back to recover. He needs to cut this tendency out of his game. Not a Spanish Inquisition but rather an opportunity for him to improve. There's no point making a breathtaking save in one moment but then presenting the opposition with an open goal in the next. Deal with it, but move on.
  11. Thanks for this. I'll give them a go next time I'm passing. If i can find somewhere to park.
  12. It was a lot easier when it used to be lead/tin. Now that was proper eutectic.
  13. So he's fooled you too?
  14. That's not the point. He shouldn't have been that far out. He did much the same at Wembley.
  15. I was in the store on Thursday buying a home shirt for my grandson (no, me neither) and I had to settle for a XXL and not much of a discount at £58.50. He also wanted a black away shirt but the largest they had was a Small. They had plenty of the green goalkeeper shirts though. They confirmed to me that the online stock and the store stock is the same. Watch out for their opening times if you're thinking of calling in.
  16. I've just seen it again. He completely misread the flight of the ball and got caught too far upfield. Some great saves but this mistake was awful.
  17. Not for the first time. It's something that he needs to address.
  18. There's giving and then there's gifting.
  19. Or maybe Ipswich weren't trying to con him all the time
  20. Nothing wrong with the ref. Find some other excuse. If Scienza and Manning didn't spend all their efforts flinging themselves to the ground we might have got more out of the game. The more dramatic the fall the less of a foul it is.
