I missed that Brentford game
-
I expect Bournemouth feel the same.
-
Adams, Armstrong and Elyonoussi weren’t clueless until they’d been at Saints for a little while.
-
5 min? The decision will be announced on Monday morning.

Thanks for that. “Rugby is a game for thugs played by gentlemen”

Can’t afford to eat out. Our business was killed by the lockdowns because we were prevented and forbidden from earning a living.
-
Whilst we're in fantasy land why don't we bring back MLT, Beattie and all our other strikers. As they were then of course, not as they are now
-
Oh i think we did. We definitely did.
-
I'd rather have Poch or Koeman whilst we are peddling our fantasies.
-
Don't forget the Women's Team. That is obviously just as important.
-
They didn't give any to me. Not that I noticed anyway.

I was discussing this many years ago with my neighbour, Ivan Golac. he said that he liked to leave four players upfield at corners Just to give the other team more to think about. A crowded penalty area does us no favours and didn't help last night.
-
We’ve seen plenty of goals. It’s just that they’re in the wrong net.
-
And the crosses were going everywhere except into the box.

It isn’t. Our squad isn’t good enough that we can have a top rate team for every match so it needs to be managed more intelligently. Of theses three games in a week which is the one we should have gone all out for and thrown everything at? Our midfield was empty last night. JWP and Diallo were sitting just in front of the back four with Charley, Che, Kamaldeen and Moi playing as a front four. The centre circle was a no-go area for Saints.

Trying to be too clever.
-
He won’t be a billionaire for long if he keeps spunking it away.
-
Unfortunately we won’t know if he’s going to be in charge until well past renewal date. If you want the early ‘bonus’ that is.
-
Have there been any indications as to why he made these changes? Surely he cannot have been saving our best team for Tottenham?
-
Exciting but then panic and a wild slash at the ball as an end product.
-
I never said we were, but once or twice a game is a lot different from two players going down for every whistle. Sometimes it was only one player.
-
I normally support referees on account of my history but that one tonight was poor. His positioning was awful, getting too close to the ball and got in the way twice in the first half, something you hardly ever see. I’d love to know what Bednarek said to him when he ran up to him after he had blocked JWP’s wonderful cross field pass. He broke up what was becoming a beautiful sequence of passes. Something needs to be done about all these players sitting down at every opportunity. Maybe the game should just carry in without them. If it’s not a head injury there should be no reason to have the medics come onto the field. Don’t they carry on in rugby with the game going on around them?

When the system becomes the be all and end all of the way we play then we are in trouble. Anti-football is never going to be the answer for a club of our size or heritage. What some might call ‘success’ of the bludgeoning hoof-it style of football is never going to have the fans smiling upon their way out of the ground.
