Some assists are better or more significant others. I have never felt that any were significant unless the ball was laid on a plate for somebody. It's a team game and as long as the team keeps scoring I'm happy.
Me too. The tax credits system has totally distorted the labour market and changes must be made in stages. You can't pull the rug out suddenly from under their feet.
If we had been able to bring Long on for the last 20 minutes that might haven shaken them up a bit, alas.
The papers I read gave him 5 out of 10, which I thought was generous.
They were capable players but if an opposing team started to get on top of them they would resort to all sorts of dirty tricks to try and kill the game. But I do remember one midweek game against Sheffield Wednesday who beat them 2-1 and simply outplayed them with quick, passing football.
They'll always be that. Dirty, nasty, spiteful team under Revie. Not a trace of sportsmanship to be found anywhere. The term 'beautiful game' never applied to
Leeds.
I agree but there's not a lot that can be done about it now, we just have to work with what we've got. The club gambled and lost. If it's just last Saturday then it's not the end of the world but a longer injury and things could get very sticky.
Not at all, rather a lot of little bad choices on and off the pitch.
2-0 is always a dangerous lead and whoever gets the next goal is going to have the momentum with them. It was disappointing but in the end I was glad not to lose, which was sad.
