  1. Is 'Hooiveld' dutch for 'wooden leg'?
  2. That's what upsets me. I'm not comfortable supporting a club that doesn't go into every game wanting to win it.
  3. Not his alone. He toed the ball away with the wrong foot instead of clearing it. All three of them had a part to play. It was a defensive shambles.
  4. Whatever the reason it's clear that the management at the club don't give two hoots about The Cup.
  5. I presume you didn't watch the whole game? The whole attitude was an insult to the game.
  6. Me too, I didn't sleep well at all.
  7. If true then somebody up top has got their sums wrong.
  8. Loyalty and support work both ways. The management should show some respect to the travelling fans too.
  9. Yes, very poor. There were three at fault: Maya's feeble attempt at a pass forward. Jos's feeble flicking the ball away with the wrong foot (his left actually, is his other one wooden?) Victor's feeble attempt at an interception instead of closing down.
  10. Yes, prize money for winning the four rounds from yesterday to the final is worth £3.24m plus the TV money. Winning the final alone is £1.8m with £900k for the losers.
  11. I'll give you all that but what's the point of all this if we're not going to try to win games? Where's the pride and the passion today? Who can honestly say that they can wear their Saints shirt with pride and when challenged about our attitude to the game say "Yeah, we're doing great thanks, we've done enough this season and we can pick and choose which games we want to turn up to".
  12. Likewise. Silly me but I thought we had progressed, I thought we were better than this but apparently not. Underneath the attractive new facade the old Southampton still lurks.
  13. He was there to miss his chance, God alone knows how. Something was wrong with the mindset of him and the whole team today. There was no belief, hunger, desire or conviction.
  14. I shall tell them that I wasted a whole Saturday of my life watching the most abject surrender I have ever witnessed in my team and then spent the rest of the day moaning about it on here.
  15. Maybe it is money, but from this stage on the FA Cup prize & TV money and extra gate receipts start to outweigh the Premier League place money and on this showing you couldn't blame BT if they didn't hand over the TV money for today's showing.
  16. He lost a lot of his shine today, in my opinion. His halo has slipped round his neck.
  17. No, you were just watching a sh1t match.
  18. Ok, I'll try. It'll be an evening kickoff. What else is there?
  19. We don't even have the depth of squad to compete in the cups this season. Apparently.
  20. Er...
  21. Away to Palace, 8th March.
