  1. Could be quite decent in the championship. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  2. Didn't look it either. I never saw anything like 5000 empty seats, in fact I'd be surprised if there were 500. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  3. So you missed a whole 30 seconds then....! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  4. I was there today ally, at the final whistle some of our fans boo'd. Where's your balls mate, hung on the wall behind your keyboard? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  5. I see, not really too sure why you would want to have all these social media platforms if you are high profile whilst being a little delicate to criticism. That said, his Twitter and Facebook appear to still be live so perhaps there is nothing innocuous about his IG account being closed. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  6. I'm not very good at this SM stuff but isn't this his twitting thing? Doesn't look like he's deleted it to me.... Take a look at Wesley Hoedt (@wesleyhoedt): https://twitter.com/wesleyhoedt?s=09 Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Does anybody know how much we have spent on this squad per chance? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  10. Just got back, great night all told. Just read the match thread and not too sure where the info was coming from but I thought for the most part we played pretty well tonight. We started well and they really never got much of a kick for the first 25 minutes or so. I have to say that Goodison Park was the proverbial library as well, god it was quiet. Thought Maya did really well at the back and won loads of headers from set pieces. Have to say he looked a bit knackered early on, and struggled in some of his ground play, but I think that was more to do with match fitness / sharpness. Balls into the box, he sorted. Thought we deservedly took the lead, so good to see Redmond deliver a final ball and a sharp finish from Danny as well. Second half they came into it a little more as you would expect but Mario and Pierre still held the midfield for us. And then MH made our only substitution, I think it baffled most to be honest. Gabi was actually having a good game and looked stronger than I've seen for a while, so why he was subbed is beyond me. But it's also the timing that is wrong as well, we can't sit deep and defend for 20 to 25 minutes, we're not strong enough. If he was going to make that sub he should of done it with 10 to go, not 25. Theo came on, we all knew what was next and he duly obliged. However after they scored I have to say we didn't just wilt as we have in the past, we kept going and had chances to win it. When it came to the pens, thought we showed a lot of bottle. I have a phobia of left footed penalty takers so I knew Matt would have his saved, but that shouldn't mar a good performance on the night. All in all, a good night, decent performance from all of the team, a penalty shoot out, and a win at Goodison Park. How often can you say that? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  11. Criminal defending, Palace threw the point away. Roy don't look happy. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  12. Agree, but is he destined for better things than Bournemouth or is that going to be his pinnacle. As difficult as it is to raise your stock in management, it's very easy to lose credibility if you move on and things don't work out, as his time at Burnley proved. That said, is love to see what he could do for us. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  13. Cherries playing some nice stuff already one up. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  14. I know mate, to be honest, I'm only giving him the time of day because it's a slow day at work today. I note that he's now having a go at the fans wherever he posts so Ill leave him to it, must be good to be a superfan from behind a keyboard. Well I think it's his little nom de plume for me and Always. Don't tell him, but I'm actually in my 60's, so my 'hard man punching days' (not that there were any) are way behind me. Keeps him happy though.
  15. Go on then, Ill ask the prophet one more time. What are you doing that's any different to the rest of us exactly? Also - where has anybody, anybody at all said that the are really happy about our decline. I seem to have missed those posts?
  16. Problem is though, it doesn't take very much at all to be better than last year, because we were dire. Now we are mildly dire. Still not good.
  17. Not convinced 5 ATB is the way to go. When we played it against Burnley at home it took us 30 minutes to get into their half - it looked awful. In a one off cup game I'd like to see us go for it I think. Mind you park the bus and hope for pens, maybe a plan, when did we last win a penalty shoot out?
  18. Thank you. I didn't think my point was that difficult to understand. And, talking of Trousers, anybody know where he is lately, seems to have fallen off my radar.
  19. You have that completely wrong. If he wants match going fans to vent at the board then at least have the good grace to go along to the game and lead the fight. Don't come on here calling fans 'weak, enablers and silent' when he is not prepared to actually go and do the deed himself. FWIW I actually believe that it is time for a bit of fan fury against the board, but my priorities when I go to games quickly change, and I end up supporting the players. I will be at Goodison Park tomorrow and SMS for Chelsea at the weekend. If he turns up and leads the weak, enabler, silent fans, who knows I may follow - but I've a feeling that he will probably be screaming from behind his keyboard again. HTH.
  20. Thanks mate, that'll do for me.
  21. You'll notice of course that Klopp talks him up big time, reckons he's a great player and really good lad, really sorry to see him leave. Could have something to do with the 20 million they stand to collect at the end of the loan period of course. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Depends which individuals he means, knowingly or luck he'll drop Hoi for Davis...! [emoji32][emoji1786][emoji32] Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  24. As a relatively new manager would you rather work at a club on the up, where confidence is high and there is a good chance of success at the end of the season. Or work for a similar sized club where confidence is shot and it is highly likely to end in relegation at the end of the season? Irrespective of whether West Brom get promoted this season I think his stock will be raised a lot more with them than with us. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  25. Wouldn't mind that at all, a few who could stake a claim. Davis may be a bit lightweight in there, but hell, can it get any worse. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
