The whole website looks like it was built by a 14 year old on a day work experience. Hardly exudes the sort of web presence you would expect of a multi million pound company. Lets just hope that 'look' and 'first impressions' prove decieving.

Ahhhh right - so you're obviously stealing half time quotes from the 'Alex Fergusons Team Talks and Tactics' book. Will you be kicking around the odd football boot per chance....?? -

So would I if I was playing - perhaps the half time should be extended to 30 minutes to allow all you players a quick peek at what us 'punters' were posting about you all...!! Another thought comes to me as well, Dubia Phil explained on another match thread recently, of a botch to stream radio commentary by using and 'open mic' next to a radio and broadcasting it over an IM such as Skype. Perhaps we could all listen in to the managers team talks before and at half time using a similar system. Perhap I am pushing the bounds of technology here, or just making ludicrous technical suggestions - but hey SKY had to start somewhere didn't they...!!! -

Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere in the thread, and it's a tad too long to trawl through, but.... Just as a matter of interest, although I am not involved in this momentus game, I was wondering if .comsaint was planning to cover the game and post match photos as he has done in the past on the match threads. I for one enjoy his 'live' match photos - would be good to have a match thread going for this one too. -
Ahhhh yet another 'ifs 'n buts' thread. It's time to focus on reality now, not improbabilities or conjecture. Lets look forward not backwards.

That is very likely to be the case - and he shouldn't really have to go touting for buyers. We are a fairly high profile failing business at the moment and such people would surely already be well aware of our predicament - if they want to enter the bidding then I'm sure they will know who to contact.

Alps mate - as if we would scoff at one of your suggestions. C'mon mate, lighten up, let me help you get this lot back in the pram....
-
Errr thanks for that BE - would you just like to pick the bones out of that for us and maybe just give us the abridged version...??? Edit: Ohhhh errr you did - apologies - age must be catching up with me - sorry...!!!
-
You're not wrong - I'd wear 'slip ons' for the duration, just to be on the safe side...!!!

You really are a cad - you're not taking this thread at all seriously are you....!!!

Stand along MLT? If Mark Fry can step onto the turf at SMS and regularly control with one touch, turn on a sixpence and fire it into the top corner from 35 yards - then he gets my vote! Until then - he appears to be doing a professional job, which we should all do in our day to day jobs, and if he finds us a decent buyer then I will be happy.
-
Yikes - that Leeds bit is scary as hell....!!!

Not a clue...!!

If we do cease to be, would you back a fan founded club formed in it's wake?

Aaaahhhh so thats where some of the money went then - we sold them Baird but told them it was actually Bridgey - damn cunning plan from our Rupert eh...!!! -
Tis not the thread Sir, 'tis the title. As Stan has pointed out - you are 'guessing', 'thinking out loud' perhaps - but your title (especially as you are shouting half of it) is misleading in that it suggest you are ITK - when in fact err you are (regretfully for your readers) not!
-
He does.., he knows as sure as eggs are eggs that it will get dark at night. Surely you didn't click on here expecting an 'Exclusive' did you? C'mon now - how many real ITK'ers do you honestly think frequent this site eh....!!! But I take your point - we were both hooked by a very non-informative snippet really.

Have to agree with most of the above. I have been in riot situations and, like the police, have also 'pushed' people. But never did I for one minute intend (or think) that the protester would fall over and die. I think the Police Officer responsible for the G20 'protesters' 'fall' wouldn't have thought any differently to I - regardless of whether the 'protester' was guilty or innocent. Heat of the moment situation that went tragically wrong.

We were supposedly meant to storm this league after slipping out of the Premiership and yeah it didn't take us long to get out - unfortunately were going via the back door. We've heard it all before - 'we'll walk this (that, whatever...) league' - but unfortunately, a bit like some of our fans today, we can talk the talk but we cannot walk the walk.
-
Ummm so most of the Burnley fans now think the we are a bunch of dickheads too (albeit soft dickheads) - hard to argue really....

Wasn't there, didn't see it. But just reading this thread makes my stomach turn when I see the amount of people who post here and accept (not necessarily defend), but still accept, that this pitch invasion was no big deal. You appear unconcerned that we have that much of a hooligan element - this is the norm - is it? This club is reaching the depths in management and on the pitch - we are going down faster than the Titanic. Many on here have said that the (some) fans should take responsibility for thier part in our demise; those with such views have been met with ridicule by many. And now this happens - I take it all our fans are blameless though? We are reaching the depths of dispair, this club needs an overhaul from top to bottom and perhaps some of it's 'followers' should also realign their thinking too. There is post upon post on this forum about how proud people are to support this club - well I seriously wonder. Fans are the life blood of any clubs fortunes, and if you are not part of the solution then you can only be part of the problem - which are those that invaded the pitch? Proud to be a Saints fan - not tonight I'm afraid - bloody ashamed if truth be known.

Errrr talk about 'shutting the door after blah blah......' Have you actually checked to see how much some Premier league teams are actually in debt to the tune of today. Most are in debt to the tune of 10's of millions - how much sillier can it get...????
