  1. Does anyone remember this guy? From what I have read on here, I don't think he's quite made it yet after a trial at Luton http://www.thebeautifulaim.com/ However, I just wondered - do people believe that NLP could potentially improve people beyond their limitations? Has anyone tried NLP and benefited from it?
  2. Just out of interest, if I wanted a Sharia-friendly loan, would I be applicable being a non-muslim? This is probably a ridiculous question...
  3. It was in a ****ty state anyway and had been for centuries. I think I'm correct in saying that we don't have any obligation to continue to fund and help a country that has shown time and time again that it isn't even willing to help itself.
  4. It's wrong, wrong, wrong on so many levels. Firstly, we have our own problems and huge deficit problems here. That should be prioritised. On top of this, we should not be paying any country £650m just to "keep them onside". That's terrible, that's blackmail. Thirdly, where are there muslim brothers in all this? I'd like to know whether any of the filthy-rich Sheikhs and oil-rich nations are helping their fellow brothers and sisters, considering the continuous claim that they should all stick together. Fourthly, I don't understand why anyone else should make up the shortfall of a country that commits just 2.9% on education. Surely, that is their problem to sort out and remember - they don't want us meddling in their affairs anyway. Oh, unless we're dolling out free money of course. It's a gesture that will never be gratefully received or acknowledged and will undoubtedly only end up in the hands of the wrong people who will trickle small amounts down anyway. WHATEVER we do for these countries in the none too distant future, we will never be trusted or seem as allies; only the 'enemy' of Islam. I say give them what they want; complete withdrawal of military, monetary help and other support and let them do it themselves. If they really are that incapable then we'll soon know if we're genuinely needed or not... I'm absolutely sure I will probably be considered a racist on here now.
  5. I wasn't aware Dawson could open the batting... :-o
  6. Throw in Vladimir Zajec as well!
  7. Massive difference between that and what Rooney did.
  8. I'd agree that they are a "big" club but when the going gets tough in the past, their fickle crowds immediately drop to below 30,000. Surprised it hasn't happened this year much, as of yet... That said, I do have a bit of an affinity with Villa so would definitely not like to see them go. Wigan (utterly, utterly pointless - they must be haemorrhaging so much money), Blackpool (Holloway, attention seeking bellend), Blackburn for me (one of the biggest sh1tholes I ever had the misfortune of visiting a few times - so no real pleasant memories there; besides, like others have said, Allardyce's dismissal was ridiculous). Great to see some of the 'traditional' clubs finding their way back up the Leagues though... QPR, Leeds, Norwich
  9. I'm still awaiting to see if Bates *can* actually bat. He's a fantastic keeping prospect, mind...
  10. Typical attention seeking, trying to be "different" behaviour to be expected from most British women of this era, sadly. ...and now you're going to tell me she's not British, right?
  11. Typically classy support as always then. I wonder if Solent will mention this if it happens to be true - or they might just put it down to Pompey's support being "passionate"
  12. Well, neither do I but I prefer us to play with the best possible tactics/formation to give us the best possible chance of winning. You've pretty summed it up there as to why it doesn't work. And the solution for it to work is a few posts above.... just means rotating the full backs around, which we should do as we have the luxury of doing so and being more flexible with our tactics/formation.s..
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljEi-dxwXCI Fat chav, horrible person.. wish he didn't play for England.
  14. I can see the reasoning behind it but can anyone report whether the diamond formation really works? It's seems as that since this became our first choice formation we've lacked width and force too much responsibility on the fullbacks to attack and defend, whilst also overcrowding the midfield. Just seems that we're creating more problems than we're solving and every time we revert to 4-4-2 we look more balanced and threatening... PS: Not being negative, just wanted a solid tactical discussion from those who have observed it...
  15. There was taking care of business and the classic 'it's as simple as that' to round off the interview
  16. Defo one of my favourite games. Absolutely tore them a new one and that was the catalyst on our march up to 4th... I know someone else on this board will remember but our performances actually went wobbly straight after a contention 2-2 v Boro away after leading 2-0. Still, we played some great stuff that year...
  17. Nice find hypo, good read that. I'm glad Jewell's speaking out about it too, it's not on and they're a nasty, cheating, sh1tc()nt of a club that should have gone bust.
  18. I only heard "IASAT" and "taking care of business" :-o
  19. Totally agree... it was like his guard was down and it was a real, honest reaction
  20. It's as simple as that!
  21. One sour note was Solent once again mentioning "magnificent travelling support" It's 45 minutes away, ffs...
  22. Carl Dickinson's been fighting the Pompey fans ROFLCOPTERS Solent mention their "magnificent travelling support" It's 45 minutes up the road, ffs...
  23. I bet there were plenty of others who thought the same tbf!
  24. Introducing Odie....
