  1. Huddersfield fans are class and sporting like their manager. Brighton's fans and manager on the other hand...
  2. Eagerly anticipating this one! Come on you canaries!
  3. Don't tell that to anyone on their eight-page mega thread of bitterness on us....
  4. Do I have to dig out "Crab Lungs Cravings" again?
  5. As I said on DATM: "Christ on a bike, what a battle! I'm delighted today (though it isn't "confirmed" as of yet) but do feel a slight tinge of sadness for you guys. I mean, 24 games unbeaten and still it isn't enough? It's crazy and any of the next 100 seasons it'll probably more than enough, but just not this one. As I mentioned on a previous thread, I've had the misfortune of interacting with a sizeable gaggle of Brighton fans who have been nothing but arrogant, smug and spiteful about Southampton (and ironically, something they've accused us of), despite receiving the best wishes of many Saints fans... Therefore, I'm pretty damn gutted it's not you and us really. Irrespective, the playoffs. It's hard to know what kind of impact it will have on your squad but you only have to look at your unbeaten run to see that you've got the mettle to see this through. Best of luck to you, Hudders, I'll be rooting for you from here on in." Nice to know that Brighton have another 8 page thread of bitterness on us!
  6. Totally agree.
  7. £650m for the privilege to say "sorry" as well
  8. My word, I never knew this existed... it's almost a prophetic look at the Skates in a fiction-based-on-fact drama! Watching it now and the similarities are mind-boggling! If you get the chance... http://www.channel4.com/programmes/11-men-against-11/4od#2928660
  9. Christ, I hope not, if any of the crap dished out whilst he was at Eastleigh is anything to go by
  10. .................
  11. Wow, just seen it. Puts into perspective the losers that frequent the game today. It was only on Tuesday I was thinking what a disgrace the Barca/Madrid game was... No, I didn't say that. He'd prove an excellent alternative to RL and it's completely unproven as to whether JB/RL could play together...
  13. I think that's where a few handy coaching sessions with Le God would come in useful...!

I don't understand the negative reaction. FWIW, as I've mentioned previously about Beatts, is that I think in able for him to "function", he seems to need to be at the right club. And, for better or worse, we are one of those clubs. Familiar surroundings, faces and a fanbase he knows well would do him good. I'm not the sentimental type by any means but I think he could really have 1-2 good seasons left in him and do a great job for us in the NPC. He just needs an opportunity...
  15. Not just a great cook then, eh!?
  16. I'll be nervous tomorrow, but for now I'm annoyed as I'm restless. It's all I can think about for long periods of the day.
  17. I can see Clotterill in front of his PC now with his Zebra finance credit card, waiting anxiously as the egg timer spins and he's told "Please wait while we process your booking"

Beatts is coming back, he's got to be
  19. Exactly my thoughts. I can't believe the bitterness, jealously and resentment. Pathetic, small minded and very tin pot...
  20. Considering the historical ethnicity of the French national team for the World Cup and Euros win (their most successful period!), it'll be interesting to know why the French federation would have that bizarre viewpoint. Likewise their team today, though they haven't won anything *yet*, the mixed race arabian/nth generation african is still very, very high. And it could be argued that their finest player ever was of ethnically Algerian extraction. Interesting read. Thanks. (Btw... has anyone noticed the renaissance that Belgian international football is having?)
  21. The point I was going to be made has already been made.
  22. Welcome to feral Britain.
  23. I went for the job as it was advertised at a significantly higher rate than £6.95ph, got it, only to be presented with a contract at a much lower rate.
