This is exactly what I try to say to people when they call someone "sh1t" because of one or two incidences. Few people (especially the mongoloids that we've got) rarely take into account the overall contribution a player makes to the team and to the game. Oh hell, some even judge players on "flicks and tricks". They don't do anything, but they look good so ... those players must be good, right? It really, really winds me up and I'm glad someone has brought this topic up...

I agree we've got a strong squad, yes. But really, why are below Bournemouth if its that strong? Surely it has to be the management, or the players which aren't performing... which is it? That said, we've still a way to go this year so we shouldn't worry. Frustrating that we've missed out on some players who could have provided great depth though, or, alternatively, competition for the starting 11.

I think you'd need a more solid reason than Schneiderlin's injury for an emergency loan. I can think of plenty of players that we should have chased in the Summer and this window though, but didn't.

I echo the sentiments of a poster earlier (can't remember which one). I too believe that we have players who are far too intelligent to be fooled by NA's constant 'positive rhetoric' and in fact, probably are sick of it. Nevermind, we'll see. I've got my razors at the ready - have you?
