That is always what I've believed - it's mental, not physical. Rickie's never going to be a massive runner or workhorse but he contributes in the right areas and it often comes off. Although I haven't seen much of him myself personally this season, it's fair to say that many of our supporters believe he's under par. That said, I'd love to know how many times he's hit the woodwork this year!

I don't claim to be ITK these days but I was passed this snippet today. Allegedly (allegedly!) Ricky was unhappy with the club in the summer as Middlesbrough were in for him but we refused to let Ricky talk to them. Like I said, don't know if it's true or anyone corroborate (maybe leftback) but it's only what I heard. No idea if he's still sulky about it but it may go some way to explaining his poor form beyond the usual "lack of fitness" line.
