  1. That's the first time I've chucked in almost 24 hours! Phew.

  3. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2119163,00.html Gallery updated. I have to say and by no means am I ashamed to say... the images brought a tear to my eye.
  4. It's a football chant - there is no rule as far as I'm aware dictating that you have to chant in present tense only.
  5. Your idea mate, credit to you Didn't take long to knock up... might be able to improve it a bit later when I get the chance...
  6. Wow, the Pompey Chimes one is much better. Appreciated. Personally think the POL thread is atrocious...
  7. ???
  8. Um, well, not sure if I'm proud enough to take "credit" for the idea, but in 04/05, against Bolton away, we just started saying "w00t" for victory (w00t being internet terminology of sorts). It's just that it's stuck around for so long now, but meh, defo WIFM from now on. All the way to the Premier League I hope...

  10. http://www.live-event-branding.co.uk/index.html Hmmm.... I wonder, when the time is right, if we can do choreograph something inside the stadium...
  11. Spot on Colin, my exact thoughts. Karma... what a bunch of c()nts... because someone's death is comparable to you cheating, lying, stealing for four years? And as for those whinging about Saints fans trawling their board for something to tarnish them... ha, idiots. The Portsmouth fans made that very, very easy for those people to find.
  12. Like I said before... this is probably the biggest indicator as of yet as to where SFC might be headed... thought about starting a new thread about it as I didn't want it to be overlooked. It mentions that the club may now be in the hands of his siblings, and that it is the Liebherr tradition to do so...
  13. Oh, and thank you! Might have to make a new desktop wallpaper now...
  14. Wow, never read that before. Loved it.

  16. This gives an indication of where the club is going: http://www.campdenfb.com/default.asp?title=Swiss-Germanindustrialistdies&page=article.display&article.id=22630
  17. Now, I'm not one for purposeful and "oooh look at me" mourning, it's abhorrent and tasteless but I believe this grief to be entirely genuine. Even some of the more robust characters I know have shed their "hard-nosed" image and are equally, if not more so, mortified. Fair play to you for being the "dignified man" about it all though...
  18. You have a PM, Pancake...!

  20. That's my point. It's not just a few, it's quite a lot.
  21. hypo, I'm not sure it would be that level though. It's almost a 50/50 split. There are some who are genuinely enjoying it.
  22. Yep.. I've seen POL as well, posted about it last night... then I thought better of it.. Some of those horrible bastards are revelling in it. Let them continue, they are absolutely classless.
  23. Thanks hypo. I have to say that I'm not one who does "grief" for grief's sake but feel genuinely quite down about what has happened. Still shocked this morning, to be absolutely honest with you. Personally, I would imagine Markus would have liked us to carry on as we were, that just appears to be the selfless nature of the man. However, there are so many quite cut up now about it (let alone his family, friends and those who are connected with the club) and it just seems right that we have a period of reflection, then perhaps a consultation with the club, family, friends and fans to decide what would be the best, most fitting tribute to the ML. At the very least, we get to play our next home game at SMS so that we can provide some form of public send-off. It's a small gesture, but it's a start. Personally, I'd love for his name and his legacy and memory to be passed down from generation to generation, never to be forgotten. I guess in situations like this you cannot always accurately account for everyone's feelings and opinions. I'm certainly not someone to go all mushy but I cannot help but think what would have happened had Markus not bailed us out and given us a completely fresh start.
  24. Thanks Tim. It's heartening to see that there are some real decent, genuine football fans out there and every condolence from them means alot right now. Like Markus, they won't ever be forgotten. Welcome to TSW.
