Im at work so can't link but there's loads tactically on him online ... Google Roger Schmidt tactics and you'll see what I mean... I think he's quite aloof and abrasive too though allegedly
-
Yup would be absolutely brilliant... in a way!
-
If that's the case, Roger Schmidt it is then. Bring it on.

Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t
Crab Lungs replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
I feel like this and I want Puel to go. As above, really shabby. -
Ask AR-10, he knows for a FACT what happened there. I feel he answers, I'll be more than happy to compare notes with him.

It's all an orchestrated drama, all the press stuff, everything. As hypo simplistically said far better than me yesterday, we do this dance every summer. And still people are naive enough to believe that the club knew nothing of the Liverpool talks. Reed is a habitual bullsh1tter. Can we get this and the Puel situation to bed please so we can all move on. Be decisive for a change... not pontificate to the press, no w4nky promo videos, no calming corporate words whilst seated in the stadium - stop faffing and just get sh1t done and start giving our supporters something to look forward to.

Very unprofessional but then again you have to look whose above him making these decisions - or not making them... and the fact they've allowed the speculation over his future to be played out and fester in the press. It's similar to bottlejobbing telling a girl you don't fancy her anymore so you just keep leading her on... not really fair on Puel tbh and not really fair on the fans. Be decisive Saints ffs. -

Can we please get Roger Schmidt please? I want to see his completely mental 4-2-4 football. Gegenpress, on steroids -
Why does the club fall apart every summer ?

A combination of weak leadership and being around the middle of the European footballing food chain. -
You didn't call me Rylan. I'm perturbed.
-
Everything is under control and remains the same, we have a structure in place hat will enable us to move forward with minimal disruption etc etc
-
Well I'm glad you see through it as some still don't. This is a completely orchestrated drama to give the perception that, once again, we tried everything we could to keep the player. If you read between the lines of any club piece, especially in The Echo, then it's glaringly obvious. The most recent interview with Romeu is the most telling. He's the one that'll likely inherit VVDs captaincy, one of our most popular players and they have him insinuating that our better players may have to leave. Then the rollercoaster begins... it's on, it's off, it's someone else, then we cry foul. Reed et al have known for weeks. It's just all posturing - we're not engaged in some holy battle with a big bully boy, the nuts and bolts of this transfer is sorted...
-
And there was me lying and making the whole thing up. As i said, chit chat started months ago. All sorted from Virgils side - now just the clubs. Would anyone be surprised if this was all just posturing by Saints before the inevitable? I think we all know what the end game would be.
-
Yesterday the club said there no were no bids etc etc Now all of a sudden they've found out VVD was tapped up The club didn't know VVD hadn't been contacted at all by Liverpool? Really, people believe that?
-
Haha... we'll see where he ends up
-
I genuinely wouldn't waste a penny on Sakho

That is a PR piece 'expects loyalty from the player after investing in his rehab'. They're turning this on van Dijk and his agent agitating for a move. They already know the games up. They are perfectly aware of the interest and know van Dijk and his agents been talking through the deal and ironing out the intracacies. Now he's been passed fit for transfer the wheels are turning. Just the fee and add ins to thrash out. This is Reed just doing the usual 'we done everything in our power' bit as per previous seasons. Now the softening of the fanbase begins. Spin time.
-
Doing as little as possible in one of our most important games in many years is simply not acceptable. So whose to blame for that? Fatigue again?
-
Alot of the deal intricacies were done while ago. It was just about VVD regaining fitness and getting checked over before it moved forward. Still AR-10 knows for a fact that because he's done a photo shoot for the new kit, he's not moving. Or maybe he is. But definitely not... but hat might change. Possibly.

I think it's more like one decent season, terrible helf season followed by Leeds most impressive season since Kevin Blackwell was their manager. Not bad at all. Oh and his sides play decent footy...possession based with some incisiveness. God, imagine having a cutting edge to your teams style?
-
Don't mind Garry Monk even though he's not be the stellar name many on here think we deserve... hissides at least player decent football whilst getting results. After Silva, Roger Schmidt would have been my poison of choice but Tuchel is now in the frame, which isn't a bad thing. I'd like us to stay away from De Boer and Emery though. Not sure about the big w4nkfests over them two.
-
Do you know that FOR A FACT?
-
Do you seriously think the drab football is down to fatigue/energy conservation? And what about the chronic lack of movement ? For me we've been insipid and whatever way you look at it. 17 home goals all season is not entirely down to opportunities spurned - that's a flaw in the tactical and coaching side as well. Didn't we buy Gabbiadini to 'fix' the goal issue then subsequently starved him of chances? We've got enough firepower alongside him to muster a few more goals, despite their indifferent seasons. Tadic, renowned for his assist making has been dire. I don't attribute hat just to Tadic, I'd also put the blame squarely on our coaching and tactical setup. Talking of which... how many times this season have we only had one or two players in the box for crosses? Too many to count...

I think st etienne are waiting for us to pull the trigger and we're waiting for them to make an approach. Would be typical
