I'm trying to get a group together for one before the end of the season. I assume that with ST holders who've not been to any away this season, Leyton Orient is a much more likely proposition for getting tickets?

I see that Szczesny is out for 6 weeks with the dislocated finger he picked up v Barcelona. Now I remember seeing a Bruce Grobbelaar video when I was young in which he said he used to dislocate them all the time and would just pop/snap them back into place himself and carry on. So my questions are, do keepers still do this at any level? Was Grobbelaar just talking BS and it never actually happened at all? Is it just a sign of the times that something you would supposedly play on with 20 years ago is now a 6 week absence, or is Szczesny's just likely to be a really bad one?

Topgun, I live on one of the roads where the posters for the protest group have been put up. Our next door neighbours went to the meeting this week and my partner is talking about going to the next one. Personally, I don't know enough about it to form an opinion either way but I know I wouldn't get a particularly balanced view at the protest meeting. As somebody whose work is linked to this area what are your views on the issues the protest group have raised that you listed above? Obviously with the way it actually looks I can understand the opposition on that front but more interested in your views on the other points though.

I just meant that it raised expectations greatly, they mightve been better off keeping schtum and perhaps then some fans wouldn't expect the team to be playing the arsenal way.

I do think the club shot themselves in the foot slightly by banging on about a passing game. I just want us promoted though, not bothered how.

Wouldve preferred them to use the extra time to actually show more of the game.

It was pretty funny though. The way he held his hands up as if to say "I have no idea what just happened there" was priceless.

Have just watched it few times. Clearly no intent, although I don't think he slipped, I think he just got it a bit wrong and over enthusiastic. Unfortunate but can totally understand why the ref sent him off as he was not in control of the challenge.

I never really understand that argument though. Surely if we can't turn on the skill in this league we won't be able to in the championship. Fwiw I don't think we're playing badly, we aren't just brushing teams aside but I don't think we have for any extended period.

It's not the point, I know where you're coming from but I just don't think it's 'unfair' or whatever. They are required to offer us 10%. They've offered us 10% because they felt it would be a sell out anyway. Why would they want more Saints fans there than neccesary. By the same token, the game at St Mary's wasn't a sell out but we weren't rushing to give them more tickets, thats our call and I certainly wouldn't have expected us to give them an advantage by doing so.

Fair enough then, sorry. I thought you were suggesting that I wasn't at the game, and therefore wouldn't have realised how "sh*t" we were (as the guy behind me decided it was his duty to keep shouting out). I just think it's an odd position we are in where we can be winning comfortably and the fans are getting on the players backs for keeping the ball and passing back to the keeper when there's no forward options on.
