  1. Hi Andrie, Don't know if it's any good for you but I have seen that there are still some places available in hospitality (off-site, but included is a ticket for the match) for Sunday. Major problems for you are that only people on the data-base can purchase tickets (so you would need some nice volunteer from here to help you out) and tickets are around 200 Euro each. Good luck with what ever you do. Enjoy your time in Southampton. Hope you will be cheering as loud as the rest of us when we stuff the Scousers...
  2. Well done Saints on a well deserved, and hard fought for, 4th consecutive away win. Of course, all the players didn't put in worldies, but there were some great moments from many: Mane, Forster, Fonte, Wanyama, to name but a few. I am so happy that we have Koeman as manager and most certainly none of the phuktards who purport to be Saints 'fans' on here who NEED someone to slag off. Mane is rubbish, they said; Forster is rubbish they say (what an amazing save today, pure fluke obviously); Tadic is rubbish (had an awful game today, according to some, despite the fact he only played for about 15 minutes of it); Pelle is rubbish (look at his standing in FF leagues.... FFS); etc. etc. It is completely amazing how we are 3rd in the league seeing as we have so many poor players - (according to the phuktards that is!!!!)
  3. Well done to the Saints fans on Soccer AM today in getting to the Champions League!!!
  4. I really detest Pochettino, the arrogant arse!
  5. Buzzing!!! 3 away wins in a week! 2 excellently taken goals by Elia. Can't wait to see him and Mane on the pitch together!! 1 outstanding midfield performance from our next gen - Harry Reed - especially important given those missing today!!!
  6. Very happy to see so many doom and gloomers predicting a poor performance tonight. That usually ensures a win!!
  7. Complete and utter morons; each and every one of them.
  8. For me, it is between Clyne, Bertrand, Toby, Steve Davis and big Vic. At the moment I am leaning towards Toby purely because of his versatility. He has been outstanding no matter where he has been asked to play. Our most versatile layer since Nick Holmes.
  9. ----------------------------Fraser-------------------- -------------Fonte---------Toby--------Gardos------ JWP------------------------------------------Targett --------------Morgan---------------Reed------------ --------------------------Tadic----------------------- --------------Pelle------------------Long------------ Subs: Kelvin, McCarthy, Bertrand, Wanyama, S Davis, Isgrove, McQueen
  10. Morgan to Arsenal for Podolski + 15m or Morgan to Spuds for Harry Kane + 18m Bring in Classie to replace Morgan ??
  11. Make sure you are lined up properly for the ramp. Do not drive into the sea. Keep to the speed limit on the German autobahns.
  12. He is at a top 4 club. No, scrub that, he is at a top 2 club.
  13. Many thanks for posting this; a very interesting article. He really does come across very well and am extremely pleased that we signed him. In fact, during the summer the time I was most concerned about our future wasn't with the countless rumours of players leaving (and subsequent exodus) it was when a report came out saying Everton had pipped us to Dusan's signature.
  14. I used to date a Caroline Hill. She is the sister of Gordon Hill, ex Man Utd and England. Used to love ribbing him about the '76 cup final.
  15. I have no idea.
  16. I travelled through Serbia twice this summer, on the way too and from Montenegro. You have a beautiful country, with even more beautiful girls - and that comes from somebody who lives in Belarus! And, on topic, I hope Tadic was unharmed in all of this..........
  17. This. Can never understand why anyone would want anything different (apart from, maybe, if they live far from Southampton and want a local fixture).
  18. According to Sky we are allowing Boruc to play for Bompey tonight (if selected). Hope that doesn't come back to bite us later.
  19. This is how to have a mature, grown up, debate. This is how to be an offensive little child. Let's look at those who have left and their replacements: GK: Boruc - Forster An improvement, imo, but still no good back-up. Hopefully, Forster won't get injured for at least a month and we are able to recall Boruc if does so after then. Defence: Shaw - Bertrand I like Bertrand and hope we make his move permanent; but I don't think he is quite as good as Shaw Lovren - Alderweireld Hopefully Toby will prove to be every bit as good as Lovren, hopefully. Hoiveld - Gardos Hopefully Gardos will prove to be an improvement on Jos. On first appearances, it seems so. Chambers - Not replaced Midfield/Fwd: Lallana - Tadic Seems very like for like Guly - Long An improvement Lmabert - Pelle Similar abilities Osvaldo - Mane Hopefully an improvement; certainly appears to be able to play in more positions Ramirez - No replacement JRod - We knew would be missing until the end of the year; could have addressed this, imo Of course, others may see the new arrivals as replacements for different players. But which ever way you look at it we are 2 players lighter and did not take the opportunity to bring in cover for a player we knew would be missing for half the season. This does not, imo, equate to a stronger squad. I honestly believe we run the risk of a few injuries to senior players at the same time ruining our season, as it did last time. One should always learn from past mistakes......
  20. I fully agree with this; which is why I was very surprised, and disappointed, that we let Gaston go on a season long loan.
  21. Chelsea to win the title ahead of Citeh for me (but then I said the same last season too) I think Utd will come 3rd with the Arse 4th Burnley will, unfortunately, definitely drop, with 2 of QPR (please God), Palace, WBA and Newcastle As for Saints, I predicted 10th-12th before the season. We have had a better start than I thought we would, with our only poor performance being in the match I was at (WBA). My main concern was, and is, our squad depth. We only had 3 players on the bench yesterday who are good enough (imo) to play in the PL. They are the 3 who came on. Yes, I know were missing Toby, JRod (who we knew would be missing until January) and Mane (who has yet to show what he can do). The reality is though that we do not have much strength in depth. If Pelle gets injured we have no one to lead the line; if Forster gets injured we can recall Boruc - but only after the first month is up; I could go on. We started well last season and then came unstuck with a lot on key injuries at the same time. I hope the same doesn't happen this time. If not, we COULD finish as high as 7th - but I will now go for 8th-10th.
  22. I see Avram has got himself a dream job in Bangkok. I wonder if has got free 'massages' (for little Avram) written into his contract there?
  23. The others obviously aren't Scottish enough..... (rolly eyed thing) Crazy isn't it? Part of me wants us to stay together; yet part of me hopes the yes vote wins and they live to regret it.

    Pistorius

That is the hardest thing, for me, to get my head around. How can anyone not know that firing 4 rounds of dum-dum bullets through a toilet door would kill a person they believed to be inside the toilet? Also, I can understand that a person may accidentally fire one round, possibly even two, but not FOUR!! He literally has got away with murder.

    Pistorius

And he's got away with another one!B oth people in the car said he shot the gun through the sunroof, but because they gave a different location and had slightly different stories (obviously, if the girl's version was correct and the driver was implicit he wouldn't have admitted so) there is not sufficient evidence to find guilty.... apparently. Fook me, no wonder crime is high in SA!
