Think this game is going to be harder than some think. Any point away from home is a good point in this league! That's the obvious stated so COME ON YOU SAINTS!

The last 38 Premier League games = 64 points for Saints
saintquin replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
By the end of the day we could be 6 above them and only 1 point from top after a dozen games. I'm sure we'll have a few weeks where we will struggle but so will others. If we carry on as we have been over the last 38 games I'd be happy! -
We won, I'm happy! 🤸♂️ 🤸♂️

Then who does? Somebody hast too. If it's the people who are offended, in this case mostly black people. The problem then is not all black people are offended. Last night, I think, was the MOBO awards which celebrates music of black origin. I and, I'm sure most people have no problem with the word black being used as a description of skin colour in this. So how can the word black be unacceptable to describe a person of black skin in other ways when it's obvious not meant in an derogative way? Of course it should never be acceptable to use in an offensive way. Sadly I personally I don't think racism will ever go away, at least not in anybody's, who's alive now, lifetime!

So if he said the non white one would that be ok? To me he would have meant the same thing but without saying black. I think that would more offensive as it would sound like being black is inferior to being white. I accept I may be wrong but, I'm sure some, if not lots, of people that get offended easily do so because of their own insecurities. I'm not saying people should accept everything bad thing said about them or peoples opinions of them that are incorrect. Many people get confused about the word nigger when they hear it said on songs sung by black people, surely if it's offensive then it's offensive no matter who says it. I'm sure I've heard (on Parkinson?) Ali say he wants to beat the white bloke yet he is idolised by many white people. What would black, and white people come to that, think of Cooper if he said he wants to beat the black bloke! As I've mentioned in another post, being dyslexic I find it very hard to put into writing what I'm (trying to) thinking in my head.

So we are only allow to protest about the things we are told to. I don't agree with all protest but I do think everyone is entitled too. I'm not sure of another way to show they are not in agreement about taking the knee which, I think is a right to do. Though thinking about it perhaps those who don't agree with it could stay in the in the concourses till it's done. All discrimination in my opinion is wrong but at the moment football is only showing concern for racism, so is football in fact showing discrimination by not supporting the others? Where dose it end? As bad as racism is and needs ending, it isn't a football problem, it's a society problem and football is dragging itself into an argument it doesn't need to be in. Without trying to make it look like I think I'm better then others, which I know I'm not, I was brought up to respect everyone unless they do something to lose that respect. May be if more people were taught something similar. I'm dyslexic so hope what I've writing is readable and makes the same sense as it sounds in my head.

I've never been a fan of VAR. Football is a sport made of human skill and human error. I would guess the officials make fewer errors per match than most players! Goal line tech works (if they remember to turn it on).

The only problem I've got with the present badge is the modern bits. Prefer the halo to be white, the waves to be the colour of the sea and to have an older looking ball!
-
Got the same feeling about this game as I've for all the others. Wouldn't waste putting a quid on any score line!
-
I loved watching play and was lucky enough to have played against him in a charity match. Think he was about to get called up for the national side just before his crash.
-
All the above are great shouts. It's surprising Case never got a full cap. Played more for Saints than any other club, which I was also surprised at!
-
Was talking of Nick Holmes to a friend and both agreed that he was one of our best players not to have got a cap. This made me think about a Saints team of non international English players. So apart from Nick I would say maybe Steve Moran. Anyone willing to add a name or two?
-
You could possibly put 18 left of the rose and 85 on the right side! I would rather go back to what we had than have that American style rubbish!
-
Reading other fans forums most seem to think our squad if at best in the bottom third. I don't think they're correct but, the way we play I would say we are better them the some of our parts.

He's on 3 yellows.
-
We will miss him when his inevitable suspension happens. I don't think he would have the same effect if you took away his tough tackling though so it's just something we have to accept!
-
One thing I like about him is he's not afraid to admit he's got something wrong and is willing to drop an idea when it doesn't work. Not all managers do!
-
Felt a bit more secure Ralph won't just up sticks at the first opportunity that comes along after reading that!
-
I've read so many article about how Saints and Ralph are doing what they're doing I can't remember what was in which one. Plus it's made harder by the fact that I'm dyslexic! What I do remember as I was reading it though was, some posters on here have written about how Ward-Prowse has found a nastier side to his game!

Hasenhuttl’s tactical-foul approach negates the vulnerability of being exposed to counter attacks. Perhaps that was his line of reasoning after his side’s 7-2 defeat to Tottenham, when most of the criticism focused around the employment of an outrageously high line. Instead, the Austrian refused to agree with that notion, stating an altogether different case. When did we lost 2-7 to Tottenham?
-
Would be the player we'd miss most on the pitch at the moment. Obviously we miss Ings goals and his defending from the front but we still create chances and as long as Adams keeps playing the way he is it makes Ings absents a little more bearable!
-
Congratulations to all at the club. You deserve a massive pat on the back for refusing Ralph's resignation a year ago. All we ask of you now is to back him as much as you can and I'm sure we could be could be battling for Euro places for many seasons. Once more WELL DONE SOUTHAMPTON FC!
-
I would take that. Though I don't think it would happen!

Sir Rickie Lambert or The King of the Scummers?
saintquin replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
If we are playing the same way as we are playing at the moment the it has to be Ings. Love Rickie but I don't think his legs are up to the way we play now.
