Shaw Chamberlain Wanyama Lallana Tadic Mane Bale subs Gazzanniga Lovran Chambers Walcott Schniderlin Brain starting to hurt now so will leave it there. Perhaps not a very balanced team but maybe exciting to watch. I’m pretty sure someone can make a better team/squad.

Maybe if they moved to a "top 6" club quickly! 😏

As in the old Sunday League day's, the award for most improved player. He is a real athlete with a great engine and if he can improve to the next level we'll do well to keep him!

Surely the word "derbies" should be replaced with "rivalries" in truth!

I didn't dislike him as a player but out of all the recent transfers to the "bigger" clubs we've done over the last few years this one is the one I'm least disappointed with.

And yet we still sang "come on you reds" in the league cup final when wearing our away kit. I still don't know why we don't "sing come on you Saints". It works no matter what colour kit we wear. We can sing "yellows" when we do wear yellow though. I don't dislike any of the kits this year. The sponsors logo ruins every kit!

Great finish to the season with just the one bad result against Arsenal. Ended closer to third from top than third from bottom in terms of points! Well done to all at the club for not panicking!

That used to be the players bar. A friend of mine, not a Saints fan, is a good friends with Andy Grey of Crystal Palace who sometimes would get us players bar tickets if we went to watch Palace anytime (my friend used to come with me to watch Saints as well). After one match at The Dell we went into the players bar where Neil Ruddick was behind the bar just kept pouring pints for about 10 minutes. The real good thing about Saints players bar was it was free beer!

Been lucky enough to meet quite a few Saints players/managers over the years and nearly everyone of them were very pleasant to me. By far the nicest one I've ever met though was Ted Bates. I was front of the queue for tickets when they went on general sale for the 1989 League Cup Final with a few mates. It was raining a little and one of mate ran home and got a tarpaulin we tied to a Jaguar and the ticket office. Not long after Ted Bates came out and started to talk to us and said how much he appreciated our enthusiasm. He then told us that the tarpaulin was tied to his car. We apologised and started to take the tarpaulin down but, he stopped us and said leave it where it was and he'd get taxi's till he needed his car again. Top, top man and a TRUE legend of the club!

Hope he signs another contract as we will not get a better or even as good a left back for the price we are willing to pay!

Don't see why people go on about Cantwell. Though I've only really seen him since the restart so others could be right but I just haven't seen it!

A lot of goalkeepers and central defenders in front of him which I think are probable not the hardest working positions. James top with Declan Rice for midfield players.

Strange feeling about last nights result today. Really happy after the final whistle last night but now I 'm thinking we missed out on a great chance to get all 3 points.

Great team effort! I gave Bertrand MOM, kept Greenwood in his back pocket all game. A well deserved point and if not for that 10/15 minute spell could have been more. Love Ralph!
