Everton have sold Fellani, Arteta and Rodwell in recent seasons to bigger clubs. So I would stop wondering pal.
  3. We did initially, then Lallana started being a c*nt and spouting off. He shouted at Les Reed down the phone for an hour that if we didn't let him leave he'd never play for again and on strike. So we sold him for the best price we could get. All true. The only thing Lallana was interested in was himself, all that badge kissing ******** was for show. He couldn't wait to get away.
  4. People believed what's they wants to believe. Les and Ralph were dammed if they did damned if they didn't. Stay quiet they should be saying something, say something, every word was analysed and regurgitated and they were absolutely slaughtered. Too many People were still believing the Cortese bull**** and the nonsense spouted that without him this club was nothing, we were only where we are because of him. The Cortese fanatics have been shown up, those that defended his weird behaviour made to look stupid. I warned of this as was abused as being a Cortese hater, but those that criticised his behaviour have been price right, you can run a successful premier league club without being a complete c*nt.
  5. Going by the look of a lot of our fans at Leicester fancy dress would be going as normal, well dressed people.
  6. That would be hilarious. Would make me lol so much if have to take dozens of pictures for Facebook. If we wanted to be properly wacky we could also dress up as **** Van dijk. Some could go as him in chitty bang bang and other as him Mary Poppins, if we played a London club they might even think we'd done it to take to p+Ss out of them, would a non stop lolathon
  7. If only we'd got knocked out of the cups early so we could get plenty of rest inbetween games. We'd be nailed on for the top 6.
  8. How is it our fault? We made him a decent offer but he left because he wanted to play football. He isn't better than Schniderlin and Wanyama so couldn't guarentee him a first team place. He was a great player for us and an excellent signing but not a first choice player here now. Fair play to the lad, he's taken less money to play first team football, he could have stayed on more money and watched from the bench most weeks. Funny how when it's non saints players who are happy to sit on the bench and take the money they are mercanarcy scum throwing away their careers, yet when one of ours decides he doesn't want to do that the club are at fault for not keeping him.
  9. Difficult one. It's be impossible for both teams to dominate possession and lose to a sloppy goal.
  10. He was getting absolutely slammed on here every time we conceded a goal a while back. He was described as league one level by some, others said he was just lucky to play behind a decent back four which papered over his deficiencies. since he's been out it's shown that he's a lot better and more valuable to the team than a lot of the experts on here thought he was.
  11. Slaughtered on here as being league one standard by some. Lucky as he plays behind such a good defence by others. But the proof is in the pudding that's 2 clean sheets in 8. Even with our first choice back 4 today we looked dodgy at the back at times. So is Forster better than some wished he would be?
  12. I bet you and Mrs The9 have some amazing nights in.
  13. You're not a proper CEO until you've put yourself on the programme cover.
  14. He rights cheques on the left, does commerial deals on the right Gareth Rodgers Makes Bruce Buck look sh*te Clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap
  15. Some poor little cat just got a bully up shoe up its arse in a corner of Italy. Congratulations Gareth, a well deserved award and further proof not imply did we upgrade out players last year we upgraded our CEO.
  16. Yeah heard about this one a couple of weeks ago. We sent scouts to watch him 6 times last season, comes highly rated and our goalkeeping coach is a big fan. I can also reveal that Koeman was out of the country on Sunday making a personal check on a target after a recommendation from one of our large network of scouts. Watch this space...

He actually isn't a crap player, he needs to be at the right club.
  18. If you actually watched and understood what was going on on the pitch rather than basing everything on want happens on your computer screen maybe you'd get it. Maybe you'd have seen that Defoe lost control of the ball and ran into JWP rather than him maliciously hacking down Defoe. If we appeal we'll win if the FA gave any gumption they'll over turn it. However that would also make the penalty questionable and Sunderlands 3 points, so I'm sure they'd rather bury their head in the sand and ignore the scenario rather than admitting their errors.
  19. Crab lungs - like Rylan from X factor BTF - spit of Edwina curry Hypo - spud from trainspotting
  20. Had a great time using the bingo bus, it's unfairly labelled as such IMO. Great time and a great atmosphere with some to chaps. You're going to struggle with what's on offer on there I'm afraid pal.
  21. He didn't actually sell them but he was a big part of the reason they were sold. Cortese promised them the moon on the stick. That we'd be In the champions league, that we'd be making big signings to improve on what we had and crucially that it would only happen if he was here. He was the reason why the club was where it was, well that's what he had everyone believe. Meanwhile behind the scenes his foundations built on sand were slipping away. He'd made promises he wasn't in a position to keep. He didn't have agreement for the loans he took out, he didn't stick to the budget for the training ground, he wasn't building the club brand or Commercial revenue streams. He was effectively playing a real life game of football manager with someone else's money. So when the owners wanted to know what was going on with their money it all started to unravel. Players saw the man that they thought as the keys to unlock the padlock into the top four removed from his position and new people with a more realistic and measured approach come in. They didn't tell people what they wanted to hear, the didn't make promises they weren't able to keep but many saw that as a lack of ambition, when in truth corteses much lauded ambition were just words. Clearly players were going to be tempted by moves to big clubs but behind the scenes and in the media there was a lot of stirring going on, Cortese was using his favoured hacks to run stories to unsettle players and fans and keep alive the myth without the club didn't have a future. Coincidence that those he cosied up to and were full of gushing praise for us when he was here were now finding every reason to slate us. Coincidence David Bick, employed by Cortese and a specialist in protecting the reputations of individuals was becoming more prominent In all things SFC related in the media, yet atrangly never anything positive. Coincidence that 3 local journalists all said Cortese was sh*t stirring in the media? Yes Brett, the peoples chairman, the man whose name many of you sung, the man who was hero worshipped by the masses, the man who people sided with over club legends who gave their life to the club, the man who people made every excuse for when a bad word was uttered about was stabbing you all in the back and p*ssing in the wound.
  22. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/573713/Tottenham-Townsend-Schneiderlin-Southampton-Arsenal-gossip http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-to-offer-townsend-or-stambouli-to-southampton-in-bid-to-clinch-20m-schneiderlin-deal-10211885.html Being reported tonight spurs are to bid Townsend or Stambouli plus cash for Schniderlin. The deal itself is being touted at £20m, £5m short IMO. As for The players up for grabs, I'm not a huge fan of Townsend but I can see what he would bring to the table, stambouli would be a like for like replacement for Schniderlin and before he joined spurs was doing very well at Montpeillier. I wouldn't give too much stock to his lack of game time at spurs as as we have seen with MP he has his favourites and if you're not one you don't play. Plus them only paid about £4m for him a year ago so his value won't have gone up in that time. So I'd says deal for £20m + Stambouli or £15m + Townsend, wouldn't be bad business. However, considering Schniderlin said only three or four weeks ago that he didn't want to be sitting in front of his telly Wednesday nights, he wanted to be playing in the champions league then there is little chance of this deal happening. Maybe his agent needs to communicate this to spurs as they don't seem to realise he won't be wanting to join them.
  23. After he success of our 'looks like a wotsit' song surely there must be a whole host of fruit based songs we can sing to insult the cherries To their keeper 'Look like a gooseberry' hilarious if he is wearing green To black players 'Look like a black current' To blondes 'Look like a lemon' Or if we really want to stick it to them we could take punnets of strawberries to our games waving them at them whilst singing 'Id rather be a berry than a cherry' Clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap
  24. The players may change, the CEO May change but the one thing that has been consistent on this incredible journey is the presence of one man. An inspiratial leader. A visionary. We should feel honoured to have a man of his calibre presiding over the club. In Les we trust.
  25. Why would a club in the top 6 of the Premier League playing European football want a manager of small club who has just been relegated?
