Are you mental? You do realise that to get into the Chelsea first team he'd have to be one of the best players in Europe. He is a current England U21 international yet lets use the fact he isn't a Chelsea first team regular as reason not to be interested FFS.

What no Scott Parker, Shay Given and Matthew Upson? According to the mighty Wiki Ledesma is in talks with us at the moment, i dont know much about him but looking at his career history seems to have problems settling anywhere and has been loaned out a fair bit. However he's young, on a free and QPR fans seemed to like him when he was there so clearly has something about him. I like the look of your list though, with the exception of Danns all good young players who will be hungry so would fit the bill of building a good young team. I'm a big fan of Pearce & Baldock, Peterborough are in for them both i believe. Jennings is a cracking young player who would be a great signing.

This is great news, if the rumours are true that it was infact Super Nicky that suggested this then i for one am delighted. Using only one matchball would save hard pressed clubs cash on having to find multi matchballs and additional funds for ball boys. What another lovely gesture from Nicky to other less fortunate clubs & chairman than ourselves, i am sure other championship chairman are delighted to have such a thoughtful chap amoungst their members.

And players, any new signing that isn't brilliant from the first kick will be for it. As will any current player, particularly last seasons favourite whipping boys, Hammond, Jaidi, Guly, Davis & Harding, non of which will be good enough for the championship after anything less than 8 out of 10 performances every week.
