It was me that told you to do the DVD and chocolates. So where did you meet your current boyfriend Georgie?

When do you suggest we play them then supermikey? There loads of teams in this division with a rep. Cardiff, Pompey, West Ham, Bristol City, Middlesborough are other clubs with their fair share. With that wealth of experience of policing football matches when do you think we should play these games?

I have to agree, i thought you were about 40 as well.

A very good friend of mine is a Millwall fan and STH, i'll be sure to tell him to aim for the one in the hat.

I like Dune, he amuses me and gets all the mugs on the Lounge bickering and showing their true, self righteous colours. IMO he is one of the best posters on here. -
Hopefully. Will be good warm ups and get the firm back in the groove for our trip to Fratton in December. Good to see the fixture computer has given us a few tough friendles before the main event. I've been summer training, have recently achieved Pro status on WII boxing and am ready for anything this clowns want to throw at us.

And England international Upson, along with the imminent arrival of Scott Parker would make the spine of our side stronger. Some people on here are seriously mental. -

and neither am I. We were well beaten ONCE under Nige, once in virtually a whole season. There were times when i walked away feeling we should have done better, Notts County, Carlise, Colchester. Other times when i was angry, especially Wallsall, Tranmere away & Brentford, times when i thought we got out of jail, MK Dons D&R away to a certain extent, times when we were solid but unspectacular, Bournemouth, Sheffield Wednesday & Charlton home and times when we were bloody superb, Exeter, Oldham. The point is we won all sorts of games, games when were brilliant, games when we were just did the job that was needed and games when we just did enough to win. I am sure Manchester united will look back on their season with the same view as we have of ours. Of course we are going to need to step up a notch next season, we are going up a level but over a season you are not going to be brilliant for 90 minutes every week. Lets not forget we finished the season a ahead of a team that went over half of it unbeaten. You said we were regularly torn a new one by poor teams and you are wrong. -
I am 10 years too young for that it would seem.

Probably met someone else at a game. The only reason women go is to meet men or because they are so insecure they cant bear to let their bloke out of their sight and are bitterly jealous of him having a good time without her.

Can you tell me in which games we were "torn a new one" please. -
Or to tell her to stop being so needy and mainstream, bowing to pressure to celebrate a pointless day. Only the insecure take birds out of valentines day. FACT.

He doesn't have convince you though does he, he has to convince our Nige. -

Of course we do, but saying we were regularly "torn a new one" when we weren't at all is utter sh*te and a rewriting of history. -
any of you do any? I've done boxing in the past but too old for that now and also dabble with Krav Maga in the past which i enjoyed. Looking at taking one up for fitness and personal interest, anyone recommend one for a fairly out of shape approaching mid thirties chap??

Far from it, when the team played well i said they did, when they played badly i said they did. Just find my comments after getting back from Wallsall away as evidence of this. In most of our wins we were comfortable if not spectacular when we got the first goal, especially at home. Where we struggled a bit was when we didn't get an early goal and could steamroller a side, ended up with us humping it long and hopeful (see Brentford home, Wallsall away) but towards the end of the season Nige seemed to have got the team playing with more patience, belief and guile 13 wins out of 14 speaks for itself. The only game i can remember us coming remotely close to "being torn a new one" was Huddersfield where they did batter us for an hour and were the much better side. -

You're right, we should have dominated every game from the first kick and won 10-0 every week. -
Just how big a squad do you think we need? Most of them signed as bench warmers by your ratings. According to you that give us 3 goal keepers 5 Centre halves 4 full backs + a new right back you want 4 wide midfielders 6 central midfielders 6 strikers Plus any youngsters coming through. FFS

On another note doesn't it annoy you when she moans about you watching games not involving Saints? She's tried to use the "but you dont support xxxxx" line in the past and generally the reply of "you dont live in Manchester/London but are still glued to Coronation Street/Eastenders every night" seems to work.

Indeed, the only team that beat us comprehensively was Huddersfield up at their place, we were awful, they were good and beat us easily. -
No, just realistic, people need to get a grip of themselves, too many bulbs about for my liking. FFS

I seriously dont understand any bloke that is that pathetic they are worrying about what their bird will say about them going to a football match. If she doesn't like it there are plenty more its of gash out there that will FFS

I hope you told her you hope she enjoys the game with her friends whilst you go with your male friends and will see her at home later.
