  1. does every team have complete tools in thier fan base? we seem to have more than our fair share!
  2. what utter bullshiit like most of your posts.
  3. of course adkins team never palyed that badly atbhome against fellow relegation struggler, oh sunderland doh! get over it we played badly for the first time in a while and paid the price. imo we will be fine but a few bumps on the way to come.
  4. **** it, keep the cash and spend it onplayers. he will earn loads else where
  5. morgan would not have signed.
  6. at the moment punch has no real competition in the squad. he is playing well and his attitude seems good. i suspect the management are concerned that should we sign a player in the summer who puts some pressure on him amd possibly gets in ahead of him that he will again throw his toys out of the pram. for that reason i would certainly consider very carefully whether to keep or release
  7. the chairman made a call that he wanted to change the management team and the man he wanted was available. As such what would be considered the right way to make that change without upsetting people? i agree it was wrong not to acknowlege NA's work in the programme /publicly but how do you get rid ?
  8. im not sure but im fairly certain they dont work on sunday
  9. oh please, exageration of the week award? whilst we clearly arent safe i think many a sensible fan have seen enough about our team to suggest we have a better than decent chance of staying up. what is it with a few whining fannies on here screaming the house down about our so called dire situation. interesting they are without fail always on here during the game and straight after. go to the game once in a while and maybe u will enjoy following the saints.
  10. i agree db, people should try and remember how poor we were inthe prem when we got relegated. personally like to see saints playnsome football. things are on the up IMO
  11. assuming no one on the forum here actually owns a crystal ball, i guess we wil have to wait until the 4th feb to find out
  12. i think this is an honest answer and backs up a little snippet that morgan and one or 2 others werent happy under nigel. one or two senior players were definately spoken to about plans to change the manager 2/3 weeks ago from what i gather. morgan was keen to move but was convinced that a planned change to managment was iminent. heard a few bits from different sources that tend to support this rumour. fully expect to get abused from all and sundry on here but thought it was worth mentioning to see if anyone else had heard similar rumblings.
  13. he can speak english. a friend who works for the club spoke to him for around 10 mins on friday afternoon when he was introduced to the staff. fact
  14. my source tells me the trip was booked last february. i cant believe its taken so long to get the guy on board.
  15. i doubt they have been told to saybpositive stuff. like any management change most employees will say the right things for thier own benefit as everyone wants to improve thier career and get off on the right foot. im sure privately most are disappointed but probably within a few days just get on with job and look to impress the new boss. the king is dead and all that.
  16. why so? the players just want to do well and make the most of thier chance in the premier league. maybe they are a little more grown up than you are being and accept change happens, they arent in control of it and perhaps that adkins at the helm isnt the only way to get where they want to be. ultimately its the players talent that wins game and that hAsnt disappeared just because of a change in management. would i have made the change , no i wouldnt but then i see no point in going down your road of seeemingly wanting it to fail because you dont agree with the decision. you seem like a spoilt child who is stamping his feet because he isnt geting his own way. to the point of calling the new boss pinnochio and having oic on your avatar. frankly its slightly pathetic to be honest. i bet you cant wait to wave your white hankie at your monitor at kick off tonight. that will show them FFS
  17. When pardew was sacked there was a similar amount if disgust about the decision(well maybe not as much). we then went on a really poor run until our nige was appointed. in hindsight it would have been a better footballing decision to have nige lined up as we wouldnt have had that period of vacuum costing us a playoff place. This time the same decision has been made but arguably the mistake has been learnt from and someone was lined up to taking a running start. Assuming that the decision was made either way, would you prefer to have a 3/4 game period with no manager like before or have someone to come straight in? its a tough call imo
  18. but why at the game. thats counter productive. if you feel somstrongly why dont you go to the ground today or monday at 9am with a banner and shoutnyour abuse outside the offices? i love NA but i love saints more and will not risk creating a negative atmosphere at a game by protesting/ shouting for cortese out or other such things that may reduce our chances of three points.
  19. my mistake i forgot about the europa league. not quite the same ring though does it?
  20. I was thinking about this at the chelsea game after he scored. surely with NCs ambitions and the fact sir rickie has already taken us to the premier league, should we not think about upgrading his song to "he's taking us to the champions league"?
  21. Cancel away but by the nature of a DD the supplier can set it up again. Standing orders are controlled by the payee not DD. Well thats my understanding
  22. i wont believe this player is any good until Alpine Saint has posted that he is a cheap alternative to astori, clearly we are in financial trouble and is obviously not good enough for the premier league coz he plays in Norway.
