Not condoning the actions of the West Ham fans but at least they show some passion for their club. We just seem to be content to let ourselves be ****ed over by the board, again.
-
We're gone.

Slightly off topic but this lot do a very nice retro of our '87 away shirt. https://aztecretro.com/products/southampton-1987-88-away-shirt

Would Puel still have been sacked if we'd won the Cup?
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
As I've said before, If all those 0-0 games had ended 2-2 or 3-3 we'd have finished in the same position, on exactly the same number of points and he'd still be our manager. -
The Manager's of every team around us seem to be able get their team to raise their game and put up a fight. This ****ing ***** just seems content to let them put in the same spineless performance week after week. He then spouts the same old **** in his post match interviews. "The players were Anxious" FFS! It's so embarrassing.

Not happy. How has that ****ing idiot still got a job? It's too late to make a positive change now. We're ****ed. :-(
-
Spot on. 5 year plan... blah, blah, blah. The club have shown no ambition to push on. A few great seasons and they just started cashing in instead of investing and improving. The fans have been completely mugged off. The owner has lined her pockets and left us with a dodgy Chinese owner.

Saints 1 Brighton 1 - Post Match

The 4 most expensive signings in the clubs history on the bench. The bloke is a proper ****ing bellend. -
Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we got the 4 most expensive signing's in the clubs history all sat on the bench? Pellegrino, you're a ****!

Anyone else comfortable with relegation?

It is what it is. It won't be good for the club but The Premiership has become something horrible. Sanchez on £400k a week when Hartlepool need £200k to survive and Chester need £50k for similar reasons. There's something seriously wrong with the game! -
I think you're right. J-Rod to assist in matters. :-(
-
Reports suggesting that he's off to WBA on loan until the end of the season. I can't help but feel that this is another target missed.
-
I don't see us winning this. I think a draw is the best we can hope for. :-/

We may as well have take Ulloa on loan from Leicester. At least he's got some premiership experience. I see WHU are trying to sign Pelle. Surely he would have been a better option for us?
-
I wonder if this will pave the way for Gabbi's rumoured exit?

Saints 1 Spurs 1 - Post Match Reaction

I thought the starting 11 was the most positive thing MP has done for weeks. Yoshida in for Stephens and maybe Boufal in for Tadic and I think you've got our strongest 11. No doubt he'll change it all again for the next game but I'd like to see him sticking with Romeu, Lemina and Hoj and try to get some consistency in the middle. -
Probably the most impressive starting line-up we've seen from MP. Lemina, Romeu & Hoedt all starting is very positive. Nice to see Gabbi starting a game too.

If I had to point the finger it would be at Tadic, Redmond & Boufal. Their inconsistent performances and dog **** attitudes are embarrassing. -

That Everton win was the worst thing that could have happened. Had we drawn or lost that game he'd be gone by now. We should have replaced him months ago. A new manager would have introduced a change in tactics and given the players a much needed kick up the arse. It's too late now. Unless Reed has got someone up his sleeve lined up to start on Monday, I think we're properly ****ed. -

Yes, and those who saw the asset stripping 3 years ago were ridiculed on this site. As you rightly say, the last 5 years have been a complete waste. What did Les say? "We're building a squad capable of regular European football". How? By selling every player that's capable of delivering European football? Why build a team when you can just sell your prize assets and pocket the proceeds? We're failing to compete in the transfer market by refusing to compete with our closest rivals. I understand that it's a business and it has to be run carefully, but it's embarrassing the number of times we've supposedly had players (and a manager) on the brink of joining us, only to see them go elsewhere at the last minute for a far superior deal. We're not even at the races. Still, when you've got someone whose intention is that take the money and run, you don't really stand a chance. I hope I'm wrong, but I see history repeating itself. We'll be relegated. We'll struggle in the Championship after losing at least 80% of our current squad and within 3 seasons we'll be in administration again. -

Bottom 3 and that's where we'll stay until the end of the season. You've only got to look at our form (the worst in all 4 divisions), the attitude of some of our players and our clueless manager to see that we've not got a cat in hells chance of getting out of this mess. Tomorrow will just be another embarrassing display. -
New manager. There's some decent players there who are obviously being very poorly managed. All I see is a manager who hasn't got a clue what he's doing tactically and clearly has no man management skills whatsoever.

I don't understand why we're not trying to sign Ben Brereton from Forest. He looks like a real prospect. He looks sharp and hungry and knows what it's like to play in the UK, unlike some of the ****e we've signed recently. Sadly, it looks like he might be going to Liverpool to sit on the bench. :-/
