  1. One advantage of no women at the football is it would probably end up saving the clubs a bit of cash when they font have to bulk buy tampons to put in the bogs: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45262541
  2. What I don't understand is why players like Gallagher and Reed were deemed good enough under previous managers but are now seemingly not good enough when the quality of the team is much worse.
  3. Can we change this thread title to "the mass self flagellation thread"? Thanks.
  4. Didn't they have pride month recently and then a pridendayall around London? Is there now a pride event for every city in the UK at different times of the year? If so that's a bit excessive I would have thought.
  5. I think no matter what anyone says, it's the one area that has seen drastic downgrading since fonte left.
  6. Stop following me around the forum soggy.
  7. Are you suggesting that no great managers have ever picked a player that hasn't been that good? A manager's judgement isn't flawless.
  8. I'd love it if he went on strike. Love it.
  9. My guess is those are fake ratings. No idea though as I don't play the game and it isn't funny anymore if you have to explain the joke.
  10. You did see our performances and results last season didn't you?
  11. I'm guessing that's the joke considering the poster he's replying to...
  12. Good for you. He's still a girly bellend though.
  13. I bet the mail have a lot of these type of things and will just release them fairly regularly until it has the desired effect and its entirely his own fault.
  14. I think there's a few studies about incentives for good behaviour and privileges leading to better outcomes.
  15. I think you need to check the definition of triggered...
  16. To be honest I think it's just the longer term influence of the Internet. We had no idea what the impact of the Internet would have on society and I think we are starting to find out.
  17. Definitely the dawn butler types.
  18. I see these sort of things in the media but surely this is the kind of thing that all sane people just look at and laugh? I can't imagine that anyone would consider this a serious issue. I think it just reminds you that you almost live on an entirely different planet to some people with a totally different set of values to the point that it would be very hard to find common ground.
  19. Wtf??? Labour are a parody of themselves at this point.
  20. What is going on here?
  21. I think we have enough quality to stay up this year and in my opinion we look better than last season with more up front. Can't see us higher than lower kid table though.
  22. Vestergaard and yoshida should be the cb pairing and bin hoedt and Stephens permanently.
  23. Let hope ings doesn't play eh? That cart horse would feck it right up.
  24. That's odd because there were quite a few articles around the Ched Evans case at the time with similar views. Imagine what your response would have been had someone cited an article and then called the verdict strange because of it. In fact here is one of my posts at the time and one you'd do well to remember considering you were one of the ones going round labelling everyone as a rape apologist. Just as a reminder, questioning a verdict is fine but being inconsistent based on the identity of the person on trial is not: Some people read up on the details of the case and came to the conclusion that there appeared to be some inconsistencies about this particular case. When this was pointed out they were accused of being rape apologists both on here and in the media. If an appeal is now successful then hopefully those people will reflect on jumping on the bandwagon so soon and labelling people simply for questioning the judgement of the court (which everyone agrees is not infallible.)
  25. The salary is not unjustified for the reasons I already stated. Like it or not the huge amount of money is in the game and thus the massive wages can be afforded by clubs. Now would I personally prefer that players are paid less? Of course I would but does that mean that clubs are not perfectly entitled to pay those huge amounts? Absolutely.
