  1. Beautiful goal!
  2. Some finish that... Gerrin
  3. What he did to save the club and keep us going when we were at our lowest will always be remembered and appreciated. It’s fair to say that without him, Saints might well not still be around. RIP
  4. Normally Ings would have Redmond in support. As well as we played for large parts of the game, his cutting edge could have made a real difference in attack today. Got to be happy with the point considering the injuries and going down to 10 for 20 odd minutes, but on another day we could well have won it playing that well.
  5. Ha, is anyone even going to notice what's going on in the game against Man Utd?
  6. If you can't look forward to a game at your biggest rivals when you're two leagues above them and haven't played them in years, are there any games you can look forward to?
  7. Get In! Bring em on!
  8. That'll do
  9. And relax
  10. Gerrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
  11. We weren't anywhere near as bad as the scoreline suggests. Burnley's goal on 63 minutes was their first shot on target, and it looked to me like the conditions had a huge role in them getting that chance at all. Before that Adams could easily have scored and Redmond forced a very good save when he cut in from the left byline. Most days you're expecting at least one of them to go in. That happens and we're probably looking at a decent result. The most disappointing part of today would have to be how we reacted to going a goal down.
  12. Bloody hell. Absolutely shafted by the wind there.
  13. It’s not pretty but it’s not the worst tactic to be trying in these conditions.
  14. Getting a scuff on the top of the ball was in his favour too.
  15. I liked the use of VAR in that game myself. It caused some delay, but nothing excessive and it made the refereeing more accurate. It’ll take some time for everyone to get used to rules being enforced that accurately, but as long as it’s consistent from here on in I can only see it as a good thing.
  16. Defended by a Danso In our Ralph's formation You just can't beat him in the air
  17. Sounds like we've managed to give the Black Box a decent technical tap this summer.
  18. Haha, imagine the scenes if we just unveiled Bale out of nowhere now. (Disclaimer: Not ITK. This is just a random thought of my own. This is intended for entertainment purposes only and any hope/optimism is taken at your own risk.)
  19. Still nothing one way or the other on Saints Twitter.
  20. It is true that we do normally get an accurate tweet along those lines.
  21. Except for any Saints players, past or present, where the default setting is "Liverpool actually are interested".
  22. Your best bet is to use the lost password feature to reset the password to something you'll remember. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/login.php?do=lostpw Passwords aren't stored in a way that they can be read by anyone, for security reasons.
  23. https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2019-07-28/highlights-feyenoord-southampton-pre-season-friendly-1920 Should be able to watch extended highlights here, just need to register if you haven't already.
  24. That'll probably go down about as well as the plans to paint the Spinnaker Tower red.
  25. I've also noticed that, the favicon is the default one now instead of the Saints badge.
