Another terrible result from STILL one of the worst teams in English football. Maybe we will find our level in League 2. Club still in freefall. Pardew needs to get it sorted. I'd give him to the end of November.

Another false dawn. Need wins. A few strung together. Good that we scored late for a change rather than conceded. Defence looks like it will be bang on when Murty gets back too. Just need a bit more pace - and Lallana to start delivering some sort of end product or I want him gone.

Very pleased with our first win since Easter. However, can't overlook the stats that said Yeovil had 16 shots to our 7 and we only had 3 shots on target all match - 2 of which were penalties. If anyone wants to have a pop at me for negativity please qulaify your criticism by addressing those facts first. From reading this thread I would suggest we still have some players who don't cut it at League 1 level. And they're all from last seasons squad of underperformers. Keep making changes Alan - you're headed in the right direction.

Lallana could do with being in a winning team more often. Bit of a chicken and egg situation really. I remain to be convinced - partly because he was one of the sh1t kickers from last season.

So comparatively he appears quick in the slower paced world of reserve football. But put him into first grade and comparatively he doesn't have the pace to run past an average League 1 full back. It would appear. It's all relative.

When was the last time Lallana and Schneiderlin walked off a football pitch as winners?

I wouldn't shed a tear at losing any of last season's squad - bar maybe Kelvin Davies. They're hardly worldbeaters, any of them.

Yeovil will park the bus. Gonna be a frustrating afternoon. It will come good, we will win a game eventually, just might not be this weekend.

Good point, no question. Can we lose Thomas from the back 4 please before he gets injured? It's starting to look settled and it's a worry. I am starting to think we might win a game soon - but I won't be betting on it. Yeovil will park the bus and try to nick it on the break. Tricky one - should be Charlton on every form line going, but you never know with Saints and we are definitely bubbling under atm. However, this is Saints after all, so to predict a win would be freaking mental. If I had to take a stab - Charlton to win a tight one with us being (1) unlucky (2) done by the ref or (3) conceding a late one. Probably all three - a 96th minute dodgy penalty...in the last of 3 minutes of stoppage time.

Burley failed miserably here to make the most of the assets at his disposal. Same story with the Scottish team. You can't have personal vendettas, play the big 'I AM' card by benching or excluding your victim(s) and then be surprised when it all backfires.

Still too many Losers around from last season - and still some on the bench as well, limiting options. The clues are in the names LL oyd and LaLLana. Not good enough. Still one of the worst sides in English football. Sort it out Pards.

Draw at best, you can't possibly predict a Saints win, it's just unfeasible. We never win football matches. Something will go wrong. Poor performance, bad luck, sh1t ref, take your pick. Probably all 3.

Schneiderlin needs to remind himself he was ineffectual in a side that was possibly one of the worst ever seen in the Championship and is currently not cutting it in League 1 either. Don't bang your arse on the door on the way out Loserboy.

Going down unless we win some matches this season. We weren't robbed - we simply didn't score the second goal to finish the game. We are responsible. Not the referee. we need to buck up sharpish. Cheque book out very quickly please and sign a replacement right back as Murty is going to be out for a while, Lloyd James is a terrible right back and we need to stop the other team from scoring goals in League 1.

Seems to have been a better performance and evidence that Pardew is improving the **** players by deploying them differently. Might help their confidence and enable them to stop being so ****. I am thinking James in midfield and Lallana not playing in a 5 yard strip up the middle. Interesting that Thomas was at fault for the first - really need to replace him as he will be injured soon and we need a settled back 4. Better.

Keep swinging with that axe Alan. James, Schneiderlin, Lallana please go and play football somewhere else. You are not up to League 1 football.

What is the point of appointing a director of football at a club that currently has only two or three proper footballers?

Disappointing. Need to ship out a lot more of last season's dross. My messages on here have been consistent on that. Time to start naming and shaming. James, Lancashire, Thomas, Lallana, Wotton, Schneiderlin - not good enough. Get out of my kitchen.
