I started a "Getting to know the mods" thread once back when I was able to start threads. It was going to be a whole series of threads which started with getting to know St. Landrew (shortly after, the £5 subscription was introduced and the series could no longer continue). I gave him a whole host of questions about his e-life, real life, Saints and more. He kindly made the effort to reply to it all in detail. Gunna miss him around here. He (and I suppose Ponty) were the best mods on here. Level headed fella. Shame the mods take so much stick around here. They all try their hardest.

Personally, as a completely impartial poster, I wouldn't think a fresh mod team would attract me, or anyone else for that matter to post anymore than they already do. It's a bit like saying a lot more people would go to St. Mary's on matchdays if the tannoy system was slightly changed. It doesn't really make any difference to the vast majoroty of people. That said, if we're talking about making the best of a bad situation I nominate Pancake.

Back from the game. Good points: Hammond looked pretty good. First time I've seen Guly-dunno what all the moanings been about he seemed alright. Harding looked good, as did Jaidi, and Schniederlin. Lallana definately improved us when he came on. Petrol at Asda there was cheap. Bad points: Kelvin Davis had a bad game with a couple of blunders he was lucky to get away with. Rickie didn't seem up for it. I'm soggy.

Is it actually possible to do well with the brake assist on? I thought it was supposed to make it easier? When I use it I can barely finish in the top 20. Does anybody else ever use it?

I don't like penalty "spots" which are rings. They should be a spot. Not a ring. I'm sure St. Mary's isn't like that, or at least I hope it's not. That little issue has taken the gloss of what should 've been a great day.

I'm single now an have been for about the past 8 or 9 years I'm afraid. However, I still have the odd liason with a girl I met in a shared house in Audley Street, Reading. There wasn't much to the relationship other than sex really, but unfortunately after a really intense night with her she told me she was pregnant about 8 years ago. Luckily she said I didn't have to deal with any of the baby stuff because there was some other bloke involved who was gullible enough to believe it was his. Anyway, I still see the woman every now and then. I thnk she's married to the other guy now so that just makes our "activities" seem a bit naughty.

Sorry for any confusion I caused with my previous (silly/deleted) post, but is impersonating a mod really worth of more punishment than racism? Ponty sits pretending to be a mod every day but I doubt he ever gets infringements.

I quite like the self service checkouts, usually get me through pretty quickly. Only problem is they sometimes don't accept my all vouchers/coupons and theres not always somebody there to assist me when I use my debit card. They need to make it clearer which way round you insert it into the slot and tell me when to enter my pin. Asked for a tenner cashback once too and walked off afterwards forgetting to collect it. Technology is ****.

I think it should be £5-10/month to use the site. It would keep a lot of the pikeys away.
