I want a PFC for christmas, it's the gift that keeps giving!
-
Is that the case though, as first time around they were in the Prem?
-
More likely to lose Pompey, rather than lose to them.

Snickers has peanuts in, mice go crazy for peanuts, you can even get traps pre-baited with peanut butter at B & Q.

Ken Russell the Southampton born film director has died aged 84. His credits include directing The Who's Tommy. Rip

What are you public sector lot up to on Weds then?

'tis true, but I'm a bit olde skool & think my kids should be in school being educated during term time. I've accepted that holidays will be more expensive, probably for another 6 years or so. Well actually this isn't quite true as we haven't had one for 3 years. -

Taking my son to my private sector place of employement, because his teachers don't want to teach him on Wednesday, despite the fact that they are better paid & have better pensions than I do. -
Shocked. A good player in his day. Must have had some serious problem to take his own life. My condolences to his family & friends. Rip

Damn you beatt me to it, I'll do the next verse then: Syphilis, it all started with a drunken kiss, now I've got scabs on my private bits.

That's a fair point. The emboldened bit is why their is so much wrong with society.

The report I heard says there were no weapons involved. I'd like to think that if I was the courier, with my helmet on & visor down, carrying a relatively heavy box, and being confronted by an un-armed man, rather than give him the box of cash, I'd hit him with the box, before legging it into the bank. Now, I've never been in this particular situation, so obviously I don't know how I'd actually react, and may just do as the guard did & hand it over, but I'd like to think that I'd have had a go.
-
Given that in neither robbery did the perps enter the bank I'd suggest it is probably safer to be in the bank than outside.

Excellent news. Good luck to her for the nationals (although the prize is not quite as much as Exit2 stated ).

I thought it was Shilts that broke his leg, but I also genuinly thought Cassells was our main man, the ravages of time may be taking its toll on the old grey matter.
-
He was a great player for us, and to think, he was only a make-weight in a deal that bought Keith Cassells (who? I hear the younger supporters shouting) to Saints.

I've always wanted to see The Boss live, but never managed it, hopefully I can get to this one, especially as it's almost on my doorstep. Sadly the Big-man won't be there.

I'm afraid it's not BS: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/18112011/58/championship-plans-afoot-fans-texting-subbing-decisions.html

I had to turn my sound up, but it's definitely there. I also remember clearly hearing it at the time.
-
Ah yeah you're right, its on 12 seconds, the keeper still has his back to RL. Glad I wasn't imagining things.
-
That's really strange. Both myself & my old man distinctly remember hearing a whistle, we even commented on it at the time, but in the clip in the OP you can't hear one. Maybe someone in the crowd blew one.
-
Being a former goalkeeper of absolutely no repute , that is exactly how I remember the rules. I thought Rickie had put the retake over, I can't ever recall seeing him put one so high before.
-
Saw it during the game, so did the ref, as he booked their guy when the ball went dead.
-
I didn't think either was a pen, the foul on Fonte was nearer the Kingsland than the penalty area & I thought Rickie dived for the second. However I didn't think Hammond dived, we should have had one for the attack on Rickie & also when Lallana was shoved in the chest about a yard inside the box. IMHO the ref got the lot wrong, but somehow he contrived to get the right result.

My wife saw (and photographed) it, aparently my youngest son (who's on an inset day) got a little excited.
