Absolutely delighted, saw this one as a potential banana skin. We have to keep on winning as we are now doing. Might sound blindingly obvious, but who knows where it will take us.[saintWill I am far happier now we have won 2 difficult back to back away games on the trot].

Got 1-0 Oldham written all over it. Every time we as fans start to get over confident, it always goes **** up. Having said that with the squad we are assembling I do not think that we will be losing too many games between now and the end of the season.
-
I have been very critical of him being a luxury player, the others have to carry. However I am delighted to have my words rammed down my throat, long may it continue. Also hopefully Lambert and Lallana will keep scoring [to outdo each other]to be leading scorer this season ,and that can only benefit the team.

Onwards and upwards, sounds like a terrific performance. I am absolutely delighted, especially for Markus Liebherr. -
The law of averages says that we are due an away win. We certainly need as many wins on the bounce as we can muster. With this squad we should be well capable of that. Murty apart we have everyone avilable, so there should not now be any need for excuses.
-
IF he can stay fit, then we must have the best pair of strikers in this league. Mr Liebherr and Mr Cortese are definately going about things in the right way. Well impressed.
-
St Will we obviously were watching a different game, and yes Lambert and Harding were superb. As for Gillingham as I said they were awful. I will reserve my happiness for when we win more games and move up the league, and anyway I thought these threads were about everyones different opinions.
-
First 20 minutes defence was awful, just when us fans think it might be sorted. Trotman was shocking all game[ first bad game?], and James was tied up in knots also. When we went forward we looked good, however Gillingham were shocking, and the midfield is still a worry.
-
Markus Liebherr can be in as many photographs as he likes.[ Incase some on here have forgotten, he saved our great club from extinction] .He will also love this club more and more, as time goes by.[As a fan and not with his owner hat on]. Also can some on here lay of Duncan, he cares alot more than most.
-
It is a pity that we do not have Dean Hammond x3 in midfield.

AP's Reason for not picking Gillett

You are such a ham Kenny. -
Good batting wicket, we have to dig in for two days.[ Shame we only got 2 bowling points].

I have grade2 diabetes[steroid induced , when I was very ill a few years back]. Watch your weight, cut out sweets and sugar[odd chocolate is ok]. Watch alcohol intake, and try and get booked in for regular podiatry appointments. Keep checking your feet for cuts, sores e.t.c, and if you are worried see a podiatrist a.s.a.p. Be sensible and you will be okay.
-
I saw Fletcher too, I reckon the club were[are?] extremely worried about relegation and got him back pronto. If we put the lack of effort we put into today against Somerset against Durham, we will be lucky to pick up even 2 points. We were totally awful, and flat.[ I feel terribly sorry for the three youngsters in the team].
-
Very good point.[ Even though I thought we would win 2-1]. Hopefully we can hammer Yeovil, and start moving up the league.
-
If Tremlett got out of his comfort zone and left, it would probably be best for both himself and the club.

Great day all around for Hants with win , and Sussex and Lancs struggling. Sussex against Yorks is another big plus , that they aee playing each other next game. Hopefully Sussex will lose to Warwickshire and Yorkshire and be relegated,
-
Another gifted player we had, who never really did himself justice here, or in the premier league.
-
Markus Liebherr is certainly getting everything right off the pitch. This great club of ours will be back to former glories in the next few years. The new bosses definately mean business, as I and others have said all along.

Coppell lined up as Director of Football - online report (or not)

If true everything is definately coming together off the pitch. Hopefully every thing will come together on the pitch as soon as possible as well. -
Pardew has to stay, long term, however he needs to motivate the players to win matches. Despite the poor performance today, we have the players here to be in at least mid table by the end of the season. The players are well enough paid to play without fear, and when the first win finally happens, I think we may win a few on the bounce. However we have to get that first win as soon as possible now.
-
He gets stuck in and does the simple things well, needs to improve his shooting though.
-
Totally shambolic, were we really playing against ten men for nearly an hour. When Thomson took the ball of the head of Lambert, that just about put the lid on a wretched performance.
-
How do idiotic threads like this ever make it past the first reply posted.

It is worrying to miss so many chances, but even more worrying to not be able to see the game out against the likes of Stockport County.[ And yes I am a fan of the new regime]
