Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak
corsacar saint replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Morgan will probably turn out to be a top player, however apart from the first hour against Millwall, has he exactly stood out in this league. -
Best outcome for club and player. Hopefully this will free money up for another good striker.

When this thread is closed it will definately be - hair today gone tomorrow.

As per usual we score and sit back. The equaliser was coming from the moment we scored, and how no one made a tackle before the cross was made is inexcusable. Not happy, we should be beating sides like Brentford at home.

Jermaine Wright was far from the worst player, we have had in the last three years. Paul Wotton, I feel sorry for, he cares passionately, but is not good enough even at this level.

Swindon 1 v Saints 0 Post-Match Reaction
corsacar saint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
This is total garbage, we should not be losing to the likes of Swindon. We basically have a gutless team who when they go behind have very little fight to get back in the game. [ We also have more than one player who think they are far better than they really are]. We need leaders and fighters on the pitch, not spineless fancy dans. I am very dejected by the two away performances, and am certainly not looking forward to the Brentford game. -
We need some steel in centre midfield[ hopefully Hammond is the answer], also a centre back with a no one gets by me attitude. Thomas and Perry are both too soft for that role.

I went there in about 1986, where Saints took a three[3] goal lead, in a two legged cup tie. Shilton was in goal and due to his heroics, the woodwork, and awful finishing by Swindon on the night we stole a 0-0 draw. I believe they missed a penalty as well, and on the night 6-0 would not have flattered Swindon. Hopefully we will be a lot better tomorrow, and get our first league win.

MLT legend, Mick Channon legend.
-
Agree totally with AP, he was the best player on the pitch.
-
We have our club back, these guys will love this club too.
-
Agree with everything AP said post match, especially the fact Morgan was the best player on the pitch.
-
Very good signing, hopefully now for Jaidi.

Steve[Grant], I have had all sorts of problems renewing with pay pal. Can you pm me with details where I can send a cheque to, and also whom it would be payable to.
-
Great appointment both ML and NC are both in this for the long haul.
-
Football legend, magnificent human being. Sadly both these traits are somewhat lacking in the game as a whole.
-
Great news, hopefully he will become even better than his brother.
-
The impatience on here is unbelievable, Why do we not as fans let AP get on with his job.

I have always had a soft spot for Sunderland[ I was a big Jim Montgomery fan from 1967, even though he was not great on loan here in 1975]. However had the unthinkable happened, I would never have switched my allegiance from Saints to any other team.

Decent player and a decent man as well.

Saints and Hampshire first and foremost. Then England cricket, then lastly England football.
-
Magical day at Lords beating Sussex[ just like beating Portsmouth], as much as I love Saints, I would never miss a Hants final.
-
The volley he missed at WBA IN 2004/5, cetainly went a long way towards sealing our relegation. But hey we are now in league 1.

I am sure Alan Pardew will sort everything out on the playing side, in his own time.
