He is, but his fundamental message is right although the Bournemouth fan base don't want to hear it. I think that the problem is that their relative success of the last couple of years has led them to believe that, as a club, they are much better than they actually are. The truth is that they do not have the size of fan base that will sustain the kind of expenditure that they want. Mitchell, arse though he may be, knows that they have to stay viable by letting their best players go - hopefully for decent fees. Cherries fans really have to ask themselves - do they want a burst of glory then no club? or bounce about in leagues one and two but with a club that is financially viable? If I were a Cherries fan I know what I would opt for. Whether I would want Mitchell as chairman is another question - but at least he has restored some financial stability. They really do need to remember where they were not so very long ago.

Yes, of course you are, but much of what you are highlighting is of the form "rumoured as" and as such may be giving rise to unwarranted concerns. Yes, Warnock moaned but the man is a grade 1 whiner at the best of times (he has even got the whiney voice to go with it) and it seems that he has done his own share of fannying around re Puncheon.

No it is not complete rubbish because he is certainly at least on a par with Mattie for close control. He has the quickest feet that I have seen on a saints player. I think that we MUST get promoted this season because it simply would not be fair to keep him out of the premiership for yet another season and I don't want to lose him!

Shilton was England's No 1 for years so I don't see how it can be anyone else. Toss up between Niemi and Flowers for 2nd. (btw - according to WGS it was Lowe who bought Niemi when he (WGS) wanted some Eastern European guy)

Its all opinions of course but without Guly we would not have won. He raised panic in their defence every time he got the ball and started and completed the move for his goal. He was everywhere in midfield and then continued to spook them when he moved up front. Yep -Kelv protected the lead but Guly got it.

The short answer is "No, he doesn't". He should be given far more free kicks than he gets but, as Bailey says above, Fonte should have a lot more free kicks given against him. Swings and roundabouts.

Guly for me. Quite apart from his goal he worked his socks off and was our best midfielder (Cork was also good though)
