Its just a good job that Carroll is not playing. In last sdeason's corresponding fixture , he spennt most of the game falling over and gaining free kicks. You can see ****tenburg rewarding him with a free kick every time that he fell over.

If he cannot manage 90 minutes at Sunderland how long is he going to last in the heat and the humidity of Brazil?? I could not believe that we took off our most creative player with 10 minutes to go and brought on a debutant when we just needed one goal to keep us in the Cup. A complete admission on MP's part that he didn't want us to go any further in the competition. Good luck to the lad. I hope he does well but did McQueen even touch the ball??

I thought that most clubs fund stadium expansion by getting a loan . Surely Pompey could find somebody to look at their credit history and give them a sizeable loan of ..... oh hang on Perhaps not.

I agree. Just come back from the theatre. Couldn't really cocentrate on the production - I am so annoyed.

Disgusting from the club. Players were not interested and clearly neither was the manager. Taking Lallanna off with 15 minutes to go and we needed a goal summed it up. Did his replacement touch the ball?? This could have been our year for the Cup. I am a happy clapper ..... but definitely not today.

Clearly they had nothing else to do on Valentine's Day

Perhaps theguy who wants the money should follow the advice given of pimpimg his daughter.

Turkish and Bazza should have a Valentine's date like this every year. This thread is priceless.

I thought he was banned from driving

Immediately after the Hull game he let his guard down and admitted that he thought that we wouldn't get relegated. But I see that he is now back to his hilarious old self.

My views in a nutshell. They will not start to make their way back until they respect the league that they are in.The fans will not start to appreciate their football until they accept the league they are in. When they do start to respect their league, when they do start to enjoy their football, they will be able to stop their masturbating over their "passion" and they will start to enjoy their football. Their hero/ villain swingometer will not move so violently either as they realise that it is possible for them to get beaten by better teams than them. Until that happens though I am certainly enjoying watching their plight. Pompey - the gift that keeps on giving!!

I wonder if the 6 year old understands more about paragraphs than her dad.

Didn't you get a copy?

We lose points for singing "we always get s h i t refs" at nearly every home game.

Bury have drawn tonight at home to Oxford using up one of their games in hand and in the process have leapfrogged lowly Portsmouth. One less team between them and the trapdoor.
-
I don't know whether you know this but he used to know somebody very high up at Pompey who he used to meet socially every few weeks.

Thats very strange. Please point out in the 46 posts above where it is claimed that Carroll is a cart horse and a dereadful player. All I can see is peolple pleased that he is out -one poster even reckons that it is certain defeat for us if he were to play. Surely you are not starting another troll like strawman argument are you Turkish??

Couldn't agree more.

... or maybe that we don't want to join the likes of Palace and Fulham in a last minute January panic to pay over the odds on more players like Jon Forte and Vegard Forren - both of whom were bought in January transfer windows.
-
How can she do that??

Cardiff have played twice against Man C , Arsenal & Man City. They have easier games to come. It is not much but it is so tight at the bottom that little things like this can count in their favour. I think that West Brom are going to be the ones to go down.... along with Fulham and West Ham.

The delusion is amazing. According to some thick skate on Talk sport they are going to finish in mid table this year and will kick on next year keeping their good players and getting rid of the not so good ones. Meanwhile in the real world you can get 10/1 on them being relegated with Corals. This will be a certainty if they go into administration before May.Fill your boots. These betting opportunities don't come around very often.

Don't knock the Express. It emloys Bazza and Glasgow as its weather correspondents.

Excellent post. Couldn't agree more. It was the January transfer window when we got Jonno Forte. A year later it was when we acquired Billy Sharp. The Southampton way is to let things evolve - not knee jerk short termism.

Any ideas about parking ?
