We've got rid of the disastrous Kreuger-Reed combine. The present leaders don't say much or appear much but they have got out of the club (for the moment) all the poor buys and others who wouldn't cut it and they have bought two forwards and an exciting defender. Fair play they have quietly done the business and put the manager and the finances in a much improved position. Every one who is here now wants to be here and wants to buy into the manager's style. Better times ahead!
-
Remember how Mane was slaughted on here 'give him away, no one will buy him' etc
-
Yes, agreed but don't forget it ultimately cost Les his job, so it wasn't all bad
-
Yes it would be if Djenepo was not injured as well
-
Has anyone discovered why Yoshida wasn't picked?
-
Has he taken a pay cut? Or has he got a two year contract instead of one year which would equal a gain?

Getting more in isn't important to me. Getting more out is. The squad is too bloated for the training /coaching I believe RH wants. This site is obsessed with wanting a new CB but maybe Vestergaard, Yosh and Bednarek properly coached are adequate and that leaves Hoedt and Stepehns on the bench. Surely only the top six are better off.
-
Yes, but it all depends on having a manager who can give coaching and confidence to youngsters: Poch could, Koeman couldn't, Puel tried, the clown didn'e even try. In Ralph we hope
-
The point is we would be lost without it and DAve M is a true fan and we love him really
-
Yosh is undervalued, he is the best we've got, he deserves more respect than he gets, he is the best choice as captain because his attitude is an example to all
-
I hope he perseveres with winning

Yes. RH has said from the beginning that we sre overloaded with senior pros who block the progress of the younger ones he wants to coach into his own style. so we are lucky the manager who has footballing reasons and the Board who have economic reasons, want the same thing. In my opinion we will never offload Forster or Austin, we are stuck with them
-
We're trying to slim the squad down and end the log jam which blocks youngsters.
-
It would be great if RH can get the best out of him, good that he is being given a chance but if it turns out well I will be more than surprised. I believe the guy is a show pony a sort of footballing Boris Johnson
-
The chances of selling four of the five above are close to zero imho but Lemina will fetch enough to finance the defender we are expecting. The challenge of how to slim down a fat squad isn't going away any time soon.
-
Get anything we can for him. its clear his day is done here. He's cost us a fortune and the longer he stays the more he costs.
-
He wont want a loan. His loan club would actually expect him to play. And that would expose him as the unfit carthorse he has become. Better to sit on the bench and take the cash.

I have a problem with the attitude of posters on here. I often think they are so negative towards club and players that they must come from down the road. Players attitude now we have a proper manager seems normal to me
-
He gave fans the two fingers last season, long before the Liverpool shirt episode
-
There was no one like NC to control him and when there was, fans didn't like that either.
-
It doesn't take a genius to work that out. He'll never get a wage packet like it again, of course he would choose to stay and take the money
-
He had a lot of off field problems, police, drink, driving and maybe he is not the type we are trying to develop. And clearly we'll get more for him than others, so lets go for it

Where's JWP?

Agree! This is the year we will see Ryan return to his best. Its going to be a completely different season and several players who have been below their best are going to surprise us. Ryan could be one of them. Looking forward to it!
