Who can understand a word Lambert says?
-
Ricky was finished when he left here, how many goals has he scored im those two seasons? Two, or three? I don't wamt to spoil the memories, he looks like a carthorse now, very sad

We surely can't be thinking about the Bournemouth chap.He comes over as a nice sort of guy but we need more than someone with a TV face, we need someone with Euro experience ready to compete at the highest premiership level. For the first time in our history we are in the top bracket and we need a manager from the top bracket, I am still hoping for Frank de Boer.

After the initial shock anger and let down of Koeman's unexpected (to me) move, I have come to think it may not be such a bad thing. Two years is as much as we can expect from any manager these days, if they are good they move to higher things (not that I call Everton higher, just richer) and if they are not good they get the sack. So my criteria for the successor is, will he give two good years---FdeB would, Pellegrini would, Emery would (IMO) but Eddie Howe would have a big question mark--nice guy, but unproven. By the way, I forecast Bournemouth for the drop next season, with or without him.

Arsenal need him, they are frail defensively, he would give them strength and spine. But I hope they don't get him, we need him even more. Supporters have under-estimated his value, I haven't seen anyone I would prefer

Pearson? you must be joking! Might as well consider 'Arry if you really want to go backwards and head for ruin again

Terry Paine was my hero an old fashioed one club player, but big Lawrie saw him as a threat and got rid. Good that Terry became President, not LM.

He can't let go which is a bit sad

I missed why we have been deducted one point, can someone tell me? Thanks

Thanks VVD without doubt

How and where do we vote? Excuse ignorance

I wonder what Poch would have done with him

Friction between Koeman and some of the players according to The MoS
Dellman replied to Bewildered's topic in The Saints
Tadic always manages to look unhappy, he moans too much at his own players and seems tired. He hasn't been the star I expected, we can do better if he's off. But I doubt we will do better than RK as a manager -
Oxo hasn't improved the way he would have done if he had stayed with us a couple more years. I hope his Dad sees that, but I bet he doesn't, and that is the trouble.
-
His free kicks and penalties were expert, perhaps he could sort ours out by giving Virgil the penalties (if we ever get another)
-
It's time Rickie bowed out while he still gets a cheer, at least from us
-
Re Adrian Heath, yes I've never forgotten that moment but he was just doing hid job, I hate the memory but not the man. it is that villain Keane mocking and taunting us when we were relegated that sticks in my gullet. He was a rogue player and is a rogue person

What was it Lawrie Mac called Poch when he replaced NA...and where are they now!

James Ward-Prowse's list of indisputable, unimprovable weaknesses
Dellman replied to ScepticalStan's topic in The Saints
Why does the OP believe JWP has weaknesses which are unimprovable? The lad is only 21. Surely there is plenty of time to improve and with good coaching he could improve a helluva lot. In fact most fans would say he has improved a lot this season. What sort of 'fan' is it thast wants to crush our own youngsters. Must have been born down the road. -
Player of the Season....surely it is Virgil for control and consistency but FF is doing great, not his fault he has only half a season
-
Dave Merrington is a true servant of the Club. Good enough for me.

Koeman and Wenger post-match 'bust-up' in the tunnel
Dellman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yes, but our young boys were all on his bench and while they sat there watching Wanyama was dominating the midfield -
Koeman and Wenger post-match 'bust-up' in the tunnel
Dellman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Arsenal are pretty but frail, they crack up every Jan/Feb. They need Wanyama, he would toughen up their attitude. I reckon Wenger knows this and will bid for him...£30m please
