Well for me, I go to see us win and if we win in the 93rd min after being battered, i couldn't give a damn. 3 points is 3 points. You don't get extra points for passing it or playing better, so if we can be professional and close games out when we need to, then that's fine with me. I see some people saying that we won't do well in the championship playing like this...well we're not in the championship, let's get there first and then approach it differently. Pard's is a clever manager and has got Reading promoted from this league - he knows how it works. I would say the quality in the league has gone up a notch this year, but i certainly wouldn't be expecting to see any sort of class in L1, and if you're going to games expecting that then you're going to be a bit underwhelmed all year. Just enjoy the wins, we haven't been on a run like this since the 80's.

Hull - little, grotty, rubbishy club. They will get relegated this season and shouldn't ever be in the premiership again. Wigan - i find them pointless tbh. They barley fill their stadium, their games are often dull and their fans are lifeless . It's a rugby town and eventually it will go back to being just that. Boro - i feel the same as you about them, their fans do my ****ing head in. I also have had a look at their current comments and yep, knee-jerking ****s. i bet 50% of them weren't even at the match, their attendance looked embarrassing today. Pompey - well, for obvious reasons. Would love to play them again though. It's time for the good old traditional clubs to join the elite again - Forest, Wednesday, saints etc - no disrespect, but Hull/Wigan/Burnley etc just look silly in the premiership.

Ok, our performance levels may have dropped slightly - but we've continued to win and win comfortably, outclassing alot of our opponents in the process. We're not over achieving, not at all - IMO we're getting results which show our level in this league and we'll only get better from here. I expect we'll have a few sloppy results between now and then end of the season, it's to be expected - but they will just be blips, just as the brighton game was. Our current result trend is pretty much how i see us, we're turning into a very consistent and workman like outfit.

I agree, it's something our team has lacked for years. playing crap and winning 3-0 is ok for me, the standard in this league doesn't warrant world class displays every week. At the end of the day it's about installing a winning mentality. Winning ugly, winning from being behind, winning after losing the lead....it all leads to success and we're starting to be a seriously consistent outfit. Our current record to be frank, is bloody brilliant - and i cannot see why people are still picking up on things to moan about. This is the best run any saints team has been on for decades, after all the **** we've had to endure you'd think we would thrive on this! We will not play as bad or as sloppy against Leeds anyway, so stop all the talk about us being ripped apart. Our first team is as good as theirs, the game it's self, with the quality on show, will not look out of place as a championship game.

Even if torquay is marked as a draw, the one statistic that comes out is 1 defeat in 15 games. when was the last time we did that? stunning run of form.

great result, didn't sound like the best first half, but we came out with much more drive in the 2nd and our class showed in the end. 3 more goals, 2 more for lambert. It's great, we're so free scoring at the moment. Cannot wait for the Leeds game next weekend, time to show the league what we're all about.
