'offside' has totally lost it's way in the game. Offside rule in it's entirety needs to be scrapped and started again and re-designed to work with VAR. You can't rule out goals because an elbow is off side.

It's a poisoned chalice for any manager to be honest, a disjointed and imbalanced squad with little movement to improve. Players like Griezman, Dembele, Coutinho aren't Barcelona players - upwards of $300m spent on those. They just don't fit that club. Then they've got Martin Braithwaite coming off the bench. They need a lot of work, they've regressed back to the early 00's

Let's pick this apart a bit. You are comparing him to Ings for a start - why do that? We're not going to have a '2nd striker' as good as Danny Ings. Talking down on Adams because he's 'not better/as good as Ings' is ludicrous. You are picking apart what he lacks compared to Ings, but not once have you said what he brings us that Ings doesn't. 'Persevere?' - It's the best partnership we've had up front for years, it's not to do with persevering with it - it works brilliantly. Adams brings different elements to our game that Ings hasn't got - notably strength, power and the ability to hold up the ball. It's so important to have that presence up front because immediately you open up the ability to bring others into the game. To me, it looks as if you are zooming in on a couple of his limitations and comparing his goal scoring to Ings and coming to the conclusion that he's not good enough. I suggest you start watching our games correctly because it seems as if you are watching them through some sort of agenda.

The secrecy thing? Yep. We had to find out via media leaks and all sorts. It's like they try to hide the bad news, but given that he hasn't been seen for 2 years, it seems pretty pointless.

Surely he drifted? After that Europa league season he didn't do anything. Bertrand wasn't pulling up any trees that season, yet he couldn't really dislodge him...and he was flogged out on loan the following season with Targett considered the better option (Targett is the better player IMO). I think the club had to make a choice between McQueen and Targett and they opted for Targett in the immediate term - good idea really, given that he earned us £15m! I don't get our secrecy on injuries either, we've always been like it. It's very, very peculiar.

It's a shame for him, he did have decent potential at one stage. It would be truly unbelievable to see him make it at the top-level now though. He could still have a pro career, I'm sure, but it'll be down in L1/L2 I'd guess.

Leeds are entertaining, but they'll also be entertaining when it goes wrong as well. That's the thing with Bielsa, when it goes wrong.....it goes spectacularly wrong.
