  1. Would expect a few changes to be honest. Targett, McCarthy, Yoshida, JWP, Austin and co all in. Still a good enough team.
  2. He looked rusty as hell today, he goes on bursts though. I don't think he'll ever be a striker you can rely on to score every week, but he'll be on the money some weeks.
  3. But that's not what this is about. You cannot read anything into the league table at this stage of the season, any dumbass knows that.
  4. You're always going to be up against it against Arsenal though, especially at their place. We were fortunate to get a 0-0 last year, some terrific saves from Fraser kept it at 0-0. I never saw us under the cosh though, Fraser didn't make a save all game from what I can remember.
  5. What's lecturing about that? No idea what your flaming issue is.
  6. Doesn't mean they'll win the league or finish in the top 4. Too early to say where any team will finish.
  7. On another day, what does this mean? It was today, and it wasn't a basketball score because we restricted them and closed them down well. We played the formation well. On another day, we could have got a 1-1 as it wasn't a penalty, on another day I could have won the lottery.
  8. Probably after a lot more than 4 games. Table means zilch right now, everyone knows that.
  9. Yeah, that was corrupt. Something suss about the end of that game. Played well, restricted them to zero chances really. Both similar sides in terms of retaining possession, slowing down the pace etc. It was a 1-1 all day really, but questions need to be asked of the officials after that end. Although you know it won't, you just get yellow carded for it as officials never, ever, ever make mistakes.
  10. You don't half spout some ****.

The Newcastle game wasn't that bad, in all seriousness I was frustrated we didn't win it. Mane had two major chances at the end of that game to make it 3-2 to us.
  12. Pards was at that point. I think we wanted him, but Reading quoted us something like £1.5m and we did a runner at that point. And then he subsequently scored against us in the pre-season friendly against reading that year too.
  13. I still think he's just a bit nervous/shy in front of a camera, the video shows himself off a little more vocal/interesting on the training pitch.
  14. Yeah, but then they'd have upset McCarthy.
  15. I heard that it would be done in installments, but I assumed it would be over a season or 2 - but in reality he will probably never cost them £30m. If they get 2/3 years out of him then they've spent under £20m on him. Good deal on paper that. I think Newcastle in the end were pressured to get him out and to save face with the fans they came up with a deal that 'may' (i.e never) reach £30m.
  16. Seems as if most Evertonions have lost faith in him. No one gives anyone a chance these days.

    Adebayor then.
  19. I find it amazing he's paid to write that. Chelsea had an A+ window but everyone they signed was poor apart from Kante. Ok. ''I don't know much about Boufal''

Maggie May is a skate, not sure why people keep falling for it.
  21. Interesting line on SSN from Hull ''They failed in the last minute for a loan for a premier league striker'' Given they were in for Jay....who knows.
  22. You can not count well.
  23. This is the transfer deadline thread, I'm commenting on deals being done. What's your issue? Maybe I should join in with the narrative of slagging our club off. Should fit in.
  24. I think he was referring to Sibley trolling the fans.
  25. What an atrocious signing for us that was. Hopefully he's better in music than he was at football, doubt it though.
