Is that some kind of new club record for number of home defeats in a Premier league season?
-
Let's be honest, we deserve to be relegated for our pathetic home form.
-
Our home form is beyond a joke, let's hope rest of the games this season are behind closed doors so we can do something more worthwhile with our time Ps f£ck VAR
-
It would be a nice touch from the club if they left one on every seat today , would look great on MOTD in crowd shots as well.
-
Those Bournemouth officials with masks on in the article look ridiculous. Think you’ll be ok for Norwich, I reckon England’s game at home to Italy more likely to be the first impacted.

He’s talking about the allocation at Old Trafford being 2400, not Watford

Terrible news for Southampton airport, makes it an unsustainable business overnight, local govt need to fast track planning permission to increase the size of the run way to allow them to attract airlines with bigger aircraft. Ironically some airlines that had pulled out could potentially come back and benefit like KLM to Amsterdam and Aer Lingus to Dublin. I used Flybe a few times for work to Manchester those flights were always busy, and for holidays in France and Faro, very handy having airport close by would be a shame to lose it.
-
Last year we took an allocation of 2400 which sold out but a few tickets made general sale. If you and the nipper have season tickets you’d easily get tickets for this.
-
And Eric Dier jumping in the stands chasing after a fan, mad times we're living in.
-
Bound to be a few Geordies who were booked to travel down with Flybe, terrible news for Southampton airport tonight.
-
Is anyone planning to wear a mask to the game on Saturday? Or missing the game through fear of contact with large gathering of people?
-
Looks like home end tickets go on general sale 9am Friday for Watford if anyone wants to try that.
-
Funny people were worried about Andy Carroll , looking at line up tonight of course one man guaranteed to score on Saturday is Shelvey.
-
Man City v West Ham was rearranged for a European night and shown on sky recently wasn’t it? Agree it’s unusual but could happen.
-
Nope, international squads meet up 23rd March, England play Italy 27th March.

Allan Saint-Maximin’s future at Newcastle is in doubt after Steve Bruce dropped him for Saturday’s goalless draw with Burnley, then claimed the winger was struggling with a hamstring injury. Sources insist the 22-year-old is fully fit and available for selection, even though manager Bruce said yesterday he was a doubt for tonight’s FA Cup tie at West Bromwich because of back and hamstring issues. Wolves and Crystal Palace are monitoring developments after learning of the situation. The SJP crowd sang for the introduction of their favourite in the second half of the game against Burnley and he was finally brought on with 12 minutes remaining. It has been suggested that Bruce was trying to protect Saint-Maximin by saying he is carrying a slight injury, rather than revealing he had been dropped, although Newcastle maintain he was struggling with a hamstring problem on Thursday and the manager chose not to risk him. Sportsmail understands there have been concerns about the Frenchman’s recent performances in training and Bruce decided he wanted to field a team he could rely on against Burnley. However, it is claimed a number of players have been frustrated with the tactics employed, believe the team should be playing better football, and are more capable than Bruce is making out in public. After a run of one win in 10 league matches, Newcastle are five points off the bottom three and could do without a fallout between their head coach and arguably their best outfield player. Indeed, the Magpies have won only one game without him in the starting XI. Saint-Maximin signed a six-year contract in the summer after joining for £16million from Nice and looked set for a bright future on Tyneside following an excellent first half of the season. However, there is likely to be no shortage of interest in the former France Under 21 star should relations fail to improve in the coming months. Saint-Maximin has scored two goals in 19 appearances and has thrilled the Toon Army with his explosive pace and direct play.

If this does happen we’d need to urgently expand St Mary’s over the summer to cope with the increase in our Premier league catchment area.
-
Exactly, for most of our squad who don’t get called up for internationals this will be a 3 week break, no excuse for burn out at the end of the season. Arsenal also need to rearrange their game v Man City due to be played last weekend, our game will probably be midweek late April
-
Especially Valery, you’d have thought a run of u23 games is just what he needs.
-
I can see this happening if there’s a sudden surge in cases in the UK , they want to limit people travelling and limit large gatherings to stop the spread so football matches an obvious candidate, will be surreal if it happens but games go ahead behind closed doors, would be interesting to see if clubs would reimburse season ticket holders.

Wow I hadn’t looked on the side, super value 60 hard earned pounds for a ticket in block 32, you might sell tickets at that price to tourists / glory hunters against the big 5 but your every day normal Saints fan isn’t going to be tempted unless the game is of big significance. Newcastle are close to selling 3000 (£30) tickets so that will boost the numbers a bit. They’re taking 5000 to West Brom tonight, impressive numbers, hopefully a tough game for them to give us an advantage for Saturday.
-
Where do you draw the line? £40 adult , £20 under 11 , Newcastle at home, seems a bit steep!
-
No last I heard that train line will be closed until end of April, bus replacements, useless. Depending on where you’re travelling from could take a different route. With Norwich and West Ham both getting home wins at the weekend we’re back to being officially the worst home side in the division, not surprisingly fans aren’t rushing to buy tickets.
-
I'm sure we will be safe, but wouldn't say we are safe, lose the next two games and I'll be worried.
-
As things stand I think Norwich, Villa , Brighton for the drop, plenty of twists to come though.
