Watford look excellent, who on earth is going down?!
-
Steve Bruce will know exactly what to do to get a 0-0 or 0-1. We’ve let West Ham and Burnley do the double over us, might as well as the Geordies to that list. Had a look at buying a ticket, Cat A game £40 adult , £20 under 11 behind the goal, haha f@ck right off.
-
Hate playing West Ham, they haven’t beaten any other Premier league team as much as they’ve beaten us, it’s so predictable and unfortunately they are going to stay up and get to beat us again next season, two years in a row they’ve done the double over us. Poor line up, as soon as I saw teams announced I had a few quid on West Ham just to profit from what we all knew was coming. Next two games v Newcastle and Norwich, we need to be much better.
-
Norwich looked like a good side, still fighting they've still got a chance of staying up, adds to the pressure on West Ham tomorrow. Leicester poor, they're lucky others are so inconsistent.
-
For Palace they are saying poor sales on day 1, but I recall tickets going on sale with no announcement I think I only found out on here that tickets were on sale, club hardly promoted it, they need to acknowledge there's a feeling amongst fans that the club doesn't value away support . I don't think we need to take biggest allocation every time (we don't travel well north of Birmingham) but games like Chelsea and Palace we can easily sell. Coming up we've sold 3000 at West Ham and 2600 at Norwich comfortably well in advance. Watford we only get 2100 anyway which always sells out quickly, I'd say take the smaller allocations at Everton and Man United, we never travel well to Goodison so 1800 lower tier will be enough, United only a week later if they take 2400 for that (which I think we took last year) don't let it go to general sale keep it restricted to those with purchase history. Bournemouth obviously we only get 1300 anyway.
-
Not sure if any use but apparently tickets were on general sale in the home end , could give that a try. Can join in booing the board for a laugh.
-
If we beat West Ham, Newcastle and Norwich we’ll be in with a chance, Arsenal / Wolves look like they could have Europa league commitments going on for a while that could help us, we’d need to get above Sheff Utd and Burnley which is do able I think.

As usual on the useless South Western Railway there are engineering works on Saturday, no buses involved at least but trains are diverted between Woking at Waterloo takes about 2 hours from Southampton Central so take an extra can of beer for the train.
-
Hopefully he gets in the next England squad , that would make me chuckle.
-
Hopefully that carries on for the rest of the season, now we're in the run in games seem to be much more spread out which should help get bigger crowds. Newcastle up next they usually bring a decent following will help the atmosphere, plus Saturday 3pm. After that we probably won't have a home game for 5 weeks until we meet Man City. As for Keowns comments, whether he is right or not we've definitely got a reputation for wingeing and not getting behind the team (with recent coverage of Austin's comments) there is an element of truth to that.
-
Goes without saying would love to see them go down and that terrible stadium in the championship, also get to watch their derby matches against Millwall for some neutral entertainment. Hard to predict for this game though, depends on how we can defend , hopefully their confidence takes a hit in a thrashing at Liverpool tomorrow
-
We need a decent song for him, name should help, going to be a top player.
-
No obviously not. He's off to join Brendan Rodgers at Leicester anyway.
-
The other semi final is Moneyfields v AFC Bournemouth so could possibly be an all Premier league Hampshire Cup final, would be pleasing for the Hants FA to have such a prestigious occasion, not sure which neutral venue could cope with such a fixture.
-
Great result by a very young Saints side, about time we got our hands on this silverware again, will definitely try to go to Eastleigh away in the semi final. Who knocked the Skates out this season?
-
Correct, it’s why it’s so important for us to score first to get the other team out of their half and create space. What happens at the moment is the opposite, we leave gaps, make a mistake and are often punished for it.
-
A place in the top 4 is definitely available for an outsider this season, Leicester look certain to take one spot, hope Sheff Utd get the other.
-
Just need to ask him in the tunnel if he's looking forward to Wembley next week then go in with a tough challenge early on, none of them will want to risk picking up a knock. Wasn't last time we played them at home just before they had FA cup final and we beat them 6-1 with fastest ever hattrick from Mane? I think we're more suited to playing against Villa than Burnley but going for 1-1 as our home form is a big psychological barrier for our players.
-
I think it's a cycle , home form has been terrible for a few years, fans get plssed off, atmosphere gets worse and so on. It's not just singing, it's constant negative moaning that does my head in from fans around me, honestly don't know why some of them bother.
-
Comfortably bottom of the league on home form, I look around me at St Mary's and no one seems to be enjoying themselves, it's a real problem for the club, they must realise that from low ticket sales. Massive game next week, if Villa pick up 3 points against us we'll be in real trouble.
-
I don’t know to be honest mate, would rather they scrapped HS2 and spent a fraction of the money sorting out the more strategically important Wessex route, fed up with engineering work affecting away days.
-
Lawro obviously hasn’t seen the weather forecast, everyone knows it’s a nailed on Burnley win in a storm.
-
Yeah London Kings Cross to Cambridge or Ely will be fine, it’s the regional service from there to Norwich which isn’t used to large numbers travelling.
-
Saints related note, hopefully he can be of use to the club somehow (or at the very least the city), most public money for the region seems to be absorbed by the deprived PO post code who get lots of investment for regeneration.
