My suggestion is; - if no improvement by mid-April abandon the league. No titles or promotion / relegation - aim to start pre season in mid July but ban overseas tours, clubs to play a number of lower league clubs to help raise funds for them. - start season as normal, same fixture list.

They were discussing the potential delay in completing this season on the radio, and the impact of playing into the summer delaying next season. Made the point that clubs are going to financially suffer now with no gate receipts, plus the uncertainty over next season will damage season ticket sales, what division are you buying for? When will it even start? Give it a few weeks to see how things pan out but got to be looking at abandoning this season then just starting again in August.

If UEFA announce that EURO 2020 will be delayed a year that will allow more time to complete this season, but it's going to be really disjointed with games called off as players or club officials catch the virus and the whole club goes into isolation for two week periods. Two week international break with games cancelled will help.

After Norwich Saturday we don’t have another game for 3 weeks (4 weeks for St Mary’s) so Saints have timed this quite well and were sensible getting knocked out of the FA cup when we did.

Just because people at Arsenal came into contact with the Forest / Olympiakos owner who has since tested positive, going to be quite a few fixtures to squeeze in for this season to finish on time if games are going to be called off due to links like that. Especially the European clubs travelling and coming into contact with airports and hotels. Arsenal need to reschedule their games against Man city, Saints, and probably Leicester as one of them will make FA cup semi-final,

Agree and let’s be honest people are hardly going to be rushing to buy for this with rumours every day that games will be played behind closed doors and our recent shocking form.

I worded that badly. Any team who loses as many home games as we have would normally be certainty for relegation, it's lucky we've had some good away results to offset that. We've now been terrible at home under Puel, Pellegrino, Hughes and Hassenhuttl , ironically we still start home games as favourites with the bookies.

What I am wrong about? I'm disappointed we lost, spent time and money watching us lose at home for 10th time this year. Newcastle had the better chances in the game - FACT Newcastle had more chances in the game - FACT Our keeper had his best game of the season keeping the score down. What would you disagree with that? Home crowd today were excellent, didn't get on players backs, did all we could. I thought red card was unfortunate, but over the 90 minutes we can't claim we deserved something.

We tried hard but come on, Newcastle had loads more chances than we did and should have won by more, do you disagree with that?
