Liverpool play away to West Ham tomorrow night, Moyes desperate for points as they get sucked into the bottom 3, hopefully Liverpool suffer a few minor knocks and decide to start a few 1st team players winter breaks early before the weekend. We’re playing well away from home but no chance of winning this, draw would be incredible, hopefully a respectable score line but realistically 3-1 Liverpool

You’d have thought the tv companies would have had the decency to confirm televised replays by now, doesn’t help sales that the ticket site says date / time TBC
-
Anyone put off by the price bear in mind saints get an equal share of the revenue so this bumper pay day might be just what we need to convince the bank manager to let us sign Walker-Peters , dig deep and buy a ticket
-
Odds are probably fair, if anything should be 1000/1 with our record over the last 40 years. You’d expect Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester , if you add Spurs to that the last 8 looks very strong.
-
I think we will sell 5600, cheap coach travel, loads haven't done the ground before, people love cup away days, we've taken more than that recently to Arsenal midweek (league cup 3rd round sept 14 and league cup 1/4 Dec 16) Tickets might cost more plus might be on BBC will put a few off travelling.
-
BBC 1 TV listings for Wednesday 5th Feb has a slot for FA cup 4th round replay (7.30-10pm) Currently we’re the only replay scheduled for that day.
-
Good chance the replay will be on tv as well. Not sure what they’ll do if Bournemouth draw with Arsenal, no obvious date for that replay other than same date.
-
£25 is a joke considering we charged them £10, don’t think away teams get any say anymore, there’s been high profile ones like Man Utd charging £45-£50. Annoyingly seems like our allocation will be split between lower tier and middle tier above , being spread out like that always dilutes the atmosphere a bit. Number of tickets probably about right, 5690 midweek away would be a good turnout.
-
Sounds like they already had a little holiday planned for the winter break so he's going to allow his players time off and play academy players in replay, gives Shrewsbury a chance I suppose and they'll no doubt take 8000 fans.

No it’s far to early to say that, still 14 games to go plenty of time for one of the teams on 30 points to drop back into it. Unbelievable season really, title race is dull but rest of the league is competitive and unpredictable, looks like Leicester will benefit getting champions league football again. We could finish anywhere between 5th and 17th still. Fair play to Dyche at Burnley, amazing job on a low budget, can’t see them going down now.
-
After Tuesday I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ward-Prowse at right back, we will need to put out a full strength team to have a chance of going through, Mourinho has said he will take the cup seriously as shown by the very few changes he made against Middlesbrough in the last round. Hopefully spurs picked up a couple of knocks last night and the extra day rest will help us. Not looking forward to this game, partly due to 5316 mouthy Spurs fans taking over but also despite our recent good run we’ve still got one of the worst home records in the country, fans don’t enjoy going to St Mary’s (still plenty of tickets left for Saturday despite the cheap prices)

There seems to be an injury curse for England strikers at the moment, hopefully Ings can avoid that, Ralph doing all he can to protect him, get through to the winter break and have a couple of weeks off. The next England game is still two months away so too early to speculate on that.

Pack your binoculars if you want to know what’s happening at the other end of the pitch.

The all new relegation priced thread 2019 (it gets earlier every year!).

Would be interesting to see the table from this time last season to compare -
Won’t happen but I’d absolutely love to see West Ham go down and try filling that soulless athletics stadium in the championship, their fans protests would provide good entertainment as well.
-
I’d like to see Brighton go as well, they discovered thousands of “fans “ from nowhere, a Brighton fan I work with kept banging on about them being the biggest club in the south outside of London now, plans to expand the ground making it 35k or something like that, they need to go back to the championship for a bit. It could really be anyone from the bottom 10 for the drop still, just need a few lucky wins , or get unlucky with injuries, long way to go. I had thought Burnley might drop in but seeing the way they beat Leicester I think they’ve got enough battle to scrape enough points
-
Brilliant win and performance last night, following saints away has been brilliant this season, incredible number of wins and players look really comfortable with the system. No idea who will go down, going to be a few twists between now and the end of the season, I think Bournemouth will get out of it.
-
Well that tweet is a load of nonsense, we’d sold out over 1700 then were give a couple of hundred more. On that subject shame to see empty seats in the block next to us, if the ticket office hadn’t been amateurs we’d easily have sold 2700 full allocation.
-
Just a note on away allocations, we've already sold out the 3000 allocation for West Ham away over a month before the game.
-
Think I'll be more worried if we lose at Palace on Tuesday, it's likely we'll lose the following two games to Spurs and Liverpool, suddenly 4 straight defeats and negative atmosphere will kick in again.
-
Agree. Reality check, reminds us defensively we're shaky, home form still poor, hopefully we don't go on a run of bad results now.
-
Hate it, pleased that at most games each weekend you can hear F*CK VAR chanted loudly.
-
Yeah I’m surprised, would have thought with Northam season ticket holders needing to relocate the Kingsland North and Itchen North would sell quickly, but not the case.

Horne was a different lower west benches pitch invasion against Bolton a couple of years later wasn’t he.
