  1. Players shouldn't show their faces in public , the lack of effort showed should shame them all. Disgusting performance. There's no coming back from that for Ralph is there unfortunately.
  2. I've never seen anything like this, fans of other clubs i know texting saying what the **** is going on your players aren't trying?! If anyone bumps into a player in the next week please vive them a wack as hard as possible round the back of the head, that's for not trying you ****
  3. 28k - 29k will be about right, the ticket office blocked out sales for back few rows around the ground , there were loads left then they took them off sale probably in the hope people buy further down to make the ground look more full for TV. Leicester sold all 2500 , decent away numbers for a Friday night. Hopefully still a decent atmosphere and we get at least a point.
  4. Going to be a very tough game this, Leicester are a good side who will be able to target our weaknesses. However for me this is about more than just football, I'm still incensed by Rebekah Vardys betrayal of Colleen Rooney on Instagram so I'll be taking this opportunity to sing pro Colleen / anti Rebekah songs for 90 mins in the hope she's there supporting her husband the equally disgusting Jamie (who i still blame for costing us the league cup in 2017, if we'd had VVD on Ibrahimovic at Wembley we'd have won that cup) Prediction 1-3 defeat.
  5. We’ve got hardly any songs about the players, mainly because we don’t like most of our players, we hardly ever win at home, the club are quick to ban anyone who is seen as a bit rowdy , we live in the times of manufactured plastic atmosphere and light shows where fans are encouraged to text a steward if they’re a bit offended by anything. Looks like there will be plenty of empty seats for Leicester but hopefully a better atmosphere without the ‘big game tourists’
  6. Obviously can’t be arsed to look it up myself but anyone know if many Wolves players were travelling around on international duty? They’ve had a long season already with Europa league qualifiers and have another trip to Eastern Europe coming up next week to prepare for.
  7. It gets worse, I know someone who asked at the ticket office in person earlier TODAY and was told it’s sold out, So even dogsbodies working in the office don’t know and are giving out wrong info. I only spotted more were available online on Monday when logging in to look at a different away game. Arsenal away they’ve held off putting on sale block 23, probably with the thought of sending that back if we don’t sell out others, which we easily will 5 weeks before the game. Very strange way of doing business.
  8. The ticket office are useless, never fail to amaze me with their incompetence. One of the many things i hate about modern football is the faffing around with away tickets, most likely Wolves offered initial allocation on sale or return basis and remaining allocation on guaranteed sale, saints don't want to take the risk of not selling them, in the mean time fans who would have gone have probably made other plans. Anyway probably doing us a favour as it's a rubbish away end and we'll almost certainly lose.
  9. If anyone is after tickets Saints have finally put block 9 on sale , seemed pointless us taking a reduced allocation then leaving empty seats when we'd sold out initial allocation .
  10. No chance, give it a couple more years and Ward-Prowse will qualify for a testimonial,, hopefully a joint one with Yoshida , two legends of this Premier league era.
  11. No they don’t, FFS you have no idea what you’re talking about, Burnley and Wolves numbers possibly for FA cup. We give more than any other side. Most clubs take segregation out of the 3000 so actually give less.
  12. The programme now has 2 "front covers" one side for home fans other reversable for away, typical saints over accommodating to visitors (we already offer biggest away allocation in the league) and of course we stick Mason f*cking Mount across the page who mentions at every opportunity how much he loves the skates. Another reminder that relegation will be a good thing, get away from this nonsense.
  13. Completely agree, sooner we're back in the championship the better, our time in this league is done, will remember the Koeman years fondly but that photo sums up why i no longer enjoy going to St Marys
  14. Yeah I'd take it now, there's probably Bury fans feeling more optimistic than us. Fu£k off tourists, half and half scarves, selfie taking, can i have your shirt signs. It's all a load of bòllocks
  15. Regardless my point stands, whenever a game of football involves Southampton FC and Giroud there is only one inevitable outcome. Did anyone watch their game last night? Good result for them away but hopefully stretched them and picked up a few knocks. Tickets have been on open general sale for ages, no doubt plenty of Chelsea fans in the home end.
  16. Just seen the Chelsea line up for tonight, they’re resting Giroud for Sunday, he loves a goal or two at St Mary’s, can’t see anything but a defeat for us.
  17. We couldn’t beat Frank Lampard’s Derby County last season so we’re due a win against him.
  18. They are away in the Champions league on Wednesday night, not a long journey to Lille but they’ll need to put out a strong side having already lost first group game to Valencia. It feels like we’re slipping back to the Pellegrino days where no one looked forward to home games as our form at St Mary’s is so bad, we could do with an encouraging performance and at least a point in this one.
  19. The stadium = not as good as the old White Hart Lane. Looks more like a shopping centre from the outside, having their family end and corporate section next to away fans doesn’t help atmosphere either. Shambles getting in, ticket scanners stopped working, poorly trained stewards were confrontational instead of helpful, one Saints fan asked what’s their backup plan for turnstiles not working “don’t know mate, you’re gonna have to wait out here” came the reply, saw a few fans being lead away . Poor. As others have said atmosphere all round was quiet, Spurs would have made more noise with half the fans at the old ground, their new end is diluted with standing only down the front. Frustrating game, we are far too slow moving forward to hurt them and always looked shaky at the back.
  20. How many yellows are Romeu and Hoijberg on already?
  21. I think you’re right, after the unbelievable highs of Tuesday there is bound to be a comedown. Spurs away was one of our worst games last season in Kelvin Davis only match in charge, would be nice to test them a bit this time. After 4 away wins / clean sheets in a row we’ll go and concede 5.
  22. There were loads without tickets, watch back the game for the first 20 mins the gangways are clear, once the special train finally arrived and we all got in the stand is packed including all gangways. Top effort and support, can’t see any away game being as good as that for a while.
  23. Took that from the City website, inaccurate as I’m sure 1999 was a two leg game in the 2nd round (not a replay) when we were Premier league and they were plucky league one minnows almost pulling off a giant killing at The Dell. I went up for the 1st leg we didn’t have many there that night in a temp scaffolding stand tucked away in the corner.
  24. Good omen - City have never beaten us in the league cup. It will be the sixth time the two teams have met in the League Cup - and City are yet win against the Saints in this competition. The first meeting was in 1978, with Southampton winning 2-1 at The Dell. Then, in 1982, City drew 1-1 at Maine Road but the Blues or Southampton were then drawn against Manchester United in Round 4 - for whoever won the replay. Saints thrashed City 4-0 at The Dell and went on to face the Reds who eventually who eventually won the cup, In 1999, City were held 0-0 by Southampton at Maine Road - the replay at The Dell saw City come back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 courtesy of two Shaun Goater goals, only to concede again in extra time and lose 4-3. So City are chasing a first League Cup success against Southampton, with a place in the quarter-finals the reward. It will be one of four successive home games for the Blues who - ironically - will play Southampton in the Premier League just a few days after this cup tie.
  25. We'll take a small following up there, always lose anyway and even some of the regulars i know are put off as they've already booked for the league game a few days later. Terrible draw, and another away one. Last year we had Brighton, Everton and Leicester away , long run on consecutive away draws.
