If they get through the replay I fancy Forest Green away.

I saw Watfords away win at Norwich, will be a tough game, it will be frustrating as we huff and puff, I'm still resigned to us being relegated this season, hope they can prove me wrong.

Stephens played a whole season in that position on loan to Swindon a few years ago and won their player of the year in a season they made the league one play off final, but I've never seen Saints try him there.

Best protest against Gao would be Tibet flags like the French club did recently, would be embarrassing for Gao to have to explain that to his govt.
-
You're right to be fair, he's **** and useless, but at let him prove himself as **** and useless in his natural position
-
Match going fans would agree, championship away Days better than this nonsense premier league charade, terrible stuff.
-
At the final whistle today i was surprised at the number of saints fans who stayed behind to give the players two fingers and tell them to **** right off the bunch of ****s
-
We're going to be in the Championship next season so let's accept it and start preparing for it
-
Throw your free scarf , throw your free scarf, throw your free scarf on the pitch. F'ck Gao and the Chinese mafia
-
To be fair for most of those games Man City weren't owned by one of the richest men in the world, but we did always seem to do quite well against them. Where's the smart money on tomorrow's game? Man City -3 handicap?
-
Hasenhuttl will do what he did at Sheff Utd and stick Djenepo or Boufal there probably.
-
I sort of agree might as well try to be positive at the start, but if the players crumble and put in the same lack of effort as Friday I can see the fans really starting to turn on them , and quite rightly so, the overpaid mercenaries don’t deserve the support of the fans. Looks like we sold out the lower tier but only about 80 seats in the middle tier, will be surreal for the fans up there plenty of room to spread out.

You're right, the players will hardly notice 1/365th of their pay, especially if the club do one of those tax deductable schemes where the donation is deducted from their pay before tax. Hope Saints foundation are able to invest it into some good community schemes but nowhere near enough to make up for the shame of Friday night, the players still have a huge debt to repay. I don't think Klarer and Slattery are the answer but might as well play them, couldn't do any worse than the other jokers masquerading as professionals.

Group of lads i know going are already discussing which goal to leave on. Probably at 3 down.

Players and staff donate ONE DAYS Wages to Saints Foundation
JRM replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
Agree I'm the same, mates who follow other clubs text me saying they've never seen anything like it, one of them asked why our players were on strike , one said surely they've all been drugged in their pre match meal, for neutrals to make such an observation I'm still trying to get my head round it, there must be more to it than just a "poor performance ". Apologies and donations like this are not enough to brush over it and move on. -
Unfortunately you're right, the u23s look completely lost in terms of direction and quality, they look like they've had all confidence zapped out of them, on a really bad run of form. Maybe the players throughout the club are missing the motivational speeches of Ralph Krueger .
-
I still haven't seen one interview with a player where they are pressed on what happened out on the pitch, ok offer apologies and donate wages but i want to hear them honestly admit they stopped trying and then explain why. There's more to it than this one performance.
-
To be honest i don't care if they players react that way. They couldn't sink any lower than they did on Friday, what we witnessed was possibly the most disgraceful display by a Southampton team in our history, the lot of them deserve to be sacked, put in the stocks at the Bargate and possibly then start to realise the extent of their failure. It's not possible to carry on as normal. Apologies are not good enough for such a lack of commitment.
-
This game clearly is a waste of time as a contest. Those players who brought shame to the red and white shirt on Friday night cannot be allowed to just brush it off. Unless I've missed it have any of them tried to explain why collectively they threw the towel in and gave no effort? We're talking historic record breaking levels, no pride or desire to perform for the club / manager / fans. They should be afraid to show their faces in town.

Not seen the post but is calling a man from China a Chinaman really now racist? I agree Kat should be Kurvy Kat or bubbly Kat , no need to be nasty just because she’s helped ruin our football club.
-
Might be better off targeting his daughter Nelly if she has social media account, she can have a word with her Dad and her best mate fat Kat. Also let’s boycott the sponsor LD Sports, hit them in the pocket. A company with integrity like them won’t like the bad publicity
-
We’ve sold about 1000 tickets for this, would imagine a fair few who purchased won’t bother to travel now. Those who do go please arrive early to greet the saints coach and let the players know they are a bunch of ****s and their performance will not be forgiven. I’ve never known a set of players so hated by our own fans.
-
I agree, the players have made us a laughing stock, utter shambles and they'll be associated with the record for a long time. They put no effort in at all and should be fined by the club 2 weeks wages donated to charity for bringing the club into disrepute. Club is rotten from the top being owned by a Chinese mafia money launderer it's no wonder everything is falling apart.
