There are buses that go up to the ground, or if you are in a group just get a cab. After the game buses are waiting outside the away end.

https://www.stokecityfc.com/news/boss-hoping-for-positive-injury-news Surely we won't have such luck to face Stoke with 5 defenders out? Would certainly help us.
-
1-1 with Peter Crouch scoring for them.
-
Thought we played well in 2nd half, can't really fault any performances but our record of not scoring at home has to be the worst in the club's history . During the first half every one other than Long was so deep he had no support.
-
I agree, watch a lot of our u23 games and we've been getting progressively worse for a while. Slight difference this year is we've opted to send a number of players out on loan, plus injuries to Hesketh and Sims. It's not just the fact we are losing on a regular basis, we're getting some proper beatings from teams that just look quicker, more physical and hungrier than us - something that is very similar to the first team.
-
Great at spending other people's money, you realise he didn't invest a penny of his own, in fact quite the opposite. Interesting he's not been employed by any other clubs since he left.
-
Worst away performance I think last season, completely fell apart in 3-0 defeat with Forster making an error, surely it won't happen again? No goals in 9 out of last 12, not so much a goal drought but a full on famine now. I think if VVD comes through the u23s game ok he'll be back along with Lemina.

We're in a relegation fight this season, absolute ****e in most games this season.
-
I only watched the first half but thought Tadic was excellent at times putting through some excellent passes, if anything it exposes the poor movement around him at Saints that we don't benefit from that more, especially midfielders with pace making runs into space as he threaded the ball through many times. Long was frustrating getting drawn into making fouls as he often does with us.
-
It sounds like he is fit, just match sharpness needed, will be interesting to see if he's on the bench on Saturday or if they give it a week , play for u23s on Monday then back in squad for Palace away.
-
When will Yoshida and Lemina be back from international duty? Both are playing in long haul locations so that might impact selection, we've almost certainly got more first team players involved in games than Watford will. Watford only have a couple of hundred tickets left from the 3300 allocation so looks set to be another sell out with not many home end left. Impressive to start the season with three sell outs.
-
shame we haven't got a u23 game until 11th September, would make sense to select VVD for one of those. I reckon we'll aim to play him at Palace rather than Watford anyway, will be easier to play away from home without the focus of the home crowd.
-
You don't need a purchase from this season, tickets are on sale to anyone on the database who has purchased a ticket since the start of the 14/15 season. only about 150 tickets left for this , mainly singles left.

The French have battered Holland so far, midfield giving little protection so a busy night for the Dutch defence and Hoedt. Can't see VVD having the incentive to play well for a World Cup place this year.
-
If he stays at Arsenal this season and leaves on a free we'll get nothing so don't get too carried away with the praise.
-
I agree , I watch the u23s quite a bit and there is really very little to get excited about at the moment. That is partly due to some of the better players like Olomola, Seagar, Gallagher and Reed being out on loan, plus injuries to Sims and Hesketh but it's a shame to see our academy team looking so weak. Just like the first team they are not very exciting to watch. As for the Checkatrade Trophy we clearly have no intention of trying to do well in it, the side we put out last night was never going to trouble a strong Peterborough side.
-
Pellegrino will hopefully benefit from having a fair number of the squad available for training over the international break, we only have Bertrand in the England squad and I don't think we've got anyone in u21s any more. Hopefully a few players who haven't had game time will feature for the Saints u21s away to Peterborough on Tuesday night in the checkatrade trophy.
-
This time last year Forster dropped out of the England squad injured and was replaced by fellow saints keeper Alex McCarthy , I think Les Reed said at the time both of them should be aiming to go to Russia for the World Cup, I hope they've applied for tickets as neither of them will be getting back in the England squad before then.
-
It saddens me to say it but we're a dull uninspiring team watched by a dull fanbase at the moment, lost all the buzz we had from our promotion days , I can see why so many lads are gradually losing interest in going to the match

0-0

Definitely can no longer be Saturday , not seen it confirmed as Sunday or Monday yet.
-
Agree with that, no balance to the side and 3 at the back did not work, no one seemed to know what they were doing at we were far too light in middle of the park. Wing backs did not offer enough and when they got forward just ran into Boufal and Tadic, have we ever won when those two have both played? Going to be very few fixtures this season , will save a few quid compared to last year I suppose.
-
Agree Pied will play, he looked decent pre season. Looking forward to seeing McCarthy play, got a feeling there will be a few goals in this and extra time. Looks like it'll be a small crowd, think highest attendance in the round so far was at Leeds last night 17k would be good if we have a decent walk up and beat that.
-
It looks like our u23s play away to Wolves tonight so the selection in that game with give an indication of which players will be called up for the cup game. I think I recall for the cup final last season tickets initially went on sale to season ticket holders who had also been to the first rounds of the cup so there is some incentive to go to these games.

Watford do look impressive so far, will be interesting to see what Silva can achieve with them. Poor start for Bournemouth this season starting with defeats to West Brom and Watford, early days but if you start with a bad run its an uphill struggle from there. Our next 3 games of Huddersfield / Watford / Palace still a great opportunity to get some early points on the board.
