Sounds like he was going to be dropped for the next squad anyway. At least now it gives him more time to concentrate on getting into the Rangers first team.
-
Spot on there. Happy memories of those 2 away days. Plus the home games v Newcastle/Liverpool with an inexperienced side playing exciting football.
-
Your obsession with Burley is a bit sad. Do you have a Burley voodoo doll at home and constantly push pins into it?
-
I'll take a wild guess there were some Arsenal fans there last night booing.
-
Someone who is not playing regular 1st team football expecting to play for their country? he sounds like a **** IMO and someone who shouldn't play for their country again.
-
I think Cashly Cole is a **** but booing him during the 90 mins playing for England is stupid. Personally i think it was a mistake building the new Wembley. England got better support when they played around the country. Italy and Germany etc don't have a Wembley type stadium and play at different club grounds.

F Me It's the same old excuses

To be fair to GB he did make a change early in the 2nd half bringing on 2 strikers and playing 442 which resulted in a better performance which should have won the game if that open goal hadn't been missed. -
Good shout . I'd sign the no 7 as well.

Are you afraid of dying or getting old?

I just hope if i get dementia i'm happily confused so i can mug teenagers, go shop lifting etc and get away with it :-) -
Yes for his first few games partnering Makin with no other centre half available. Bennett began to look good at this level in the games i watched later in his spell here.
-
He's better than Wotton and would provide some much needed experience in the team.

Thanks for the abuse. Footballs about opinions. I would pick Owen ahead of Defoe/Crouch if they were still playing for Spurs/Liverpool reserves as they were. I think you will find that Owen has been scoring recently despite playing for newcastle.
-
Me too. Killer deserves more respect IMO.
-
Who are you?
-
"Children are our future" :-)
-
Agree and you could say the same apples to Bennett who i think went to Brentford from Reading after playing well for Saints after a terrible start.
-
True but it should apply to everyone including Beckham who i fail to see how he can be picked playing in a poor standard league and in a poor team.
-
I would pick Owen ahead of Defoe/Crouch everytime. His goalscoring record for England is excellent and he's proved he can score at the highest level since 98.
-
No you've lost me there??? you said you and alot of others wouldn't mind if he chucked it in. I said i would mind if he was forced to retire which imo would be a sad day for Saints. I have no idea if he will be unable to walk again if he continues playing as i'm not a doctor/surgeon.
-
I'm more than happy to represent the thousands of Northern Saints :-) Only joking btw
-
I would have given Sturrock more than 2 games into a new season if that's what you mean about being tolerant.
-
I think quite a few people would mind actually.

Don't play youngsters in defence, simple really

Well can you think of anyone else then? I'm pretty sure if we can afford to get Smith, Gasmi, Pulis etc in we can afford to get another player like Cork who has experience in this league, and someone who can play right and leftback. -
Are you his doctor/surgeon?

Jon Harley (Burnley) was out of contract in the summer before going to Watford. Matt Richards is on loan at brighton from Ipswich. Both experienced left backs in this division. Stephen Carr and Ian Harte are available as far as i know. I'm sure we could get someone else on loan like Cork who has played in this division?
