What is negative about advocating 1 layer of the board structure be removed?

Would rather let Ronald sort out who he wants. Would rather want away players have to confront Ronald about leaving. We could comfortably do without Reed. He is woefully under-qualified for the job anyway.

Les Reed is no Director of Football. Just f*ck him off out of it and let Ronald and Erwin identify players and the CEO negotiate contracts. If anyone wants to leave, they would have to front it out with Ronald, rather than the pathetic excuse for a man that Reed is.

i would find it difficult to justify spending my hard earned dough on watching Saints if they banked over £100m in transfer money but didn't get the signings we need. But, it hasn't happened yet simo. Just be patient, if it doesn't happen, crowds will inevitably suffer. I reckon Ron has got players lined up.

Currently, I have every sympathy with the many who spent a lot of money on season tickets. The sheer number of players sold/being sold is unprecedented at any club in 1 transfer window. Regardless of how much money it has brought into to the club, it is a sure fire way to a season of struggle. My patience with the board is running very thin. To be honest, I could do without another statement from Les Reed.

He is prepared to give the club the benefit of the doubt until 3rd August, at the moment he can't see any evidence of us improving the depth of the squad. It's totally reasonable and not that hard to understand. I have been guilty of doubting the board, but my faith in them was restored by the brilliant managerial appointment after the treacherous lying Argie left. My faith in them is being stretched again, but similar to others, they deserve my support until the end of the window.

I don't understand the concept that a club is somehow powerless to stop a player leaving they have under contract. History is littered with examples of the exact opposite happening.

I agree with much of what you say, but selling players under contract is the club's doing.
