  1. Another internoot hard man. Impressive.
  2. And fair play to them for that. I wouldn't have paid the treacherous Argie to join Spurs.
  3. Les Reed is a busted flush. I am not interested in any statement from him now, after his last one I simply wouldn't believe him. All I am interested in is signing new players and keeping what we've got (Osvaldo excepted).
  4. Probably the same bloke who said 'sh*t teams don't win'.
  5. The longer the Summer goes on, and the more players we sell, makes Les Reed look more and more like comical Ali.
  6. I am fast coming to the conclusion that this summer has been a clusterf*ck and we seem to have a board out of their depth.
  7. Fair play Tom. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  8. Currently, I have every sympathy with the many who spent a lot of money on season tickets. The sheer number of players sold/being sold is unprecedented at any club in 1 transfer window. Regardless of how much money it has brought into to the club, it is a sure fire way to a season of struggle. My patience with the board is running very thin. To be honest, I could do without another statement from Les Reed.
  9. Sounds like Tom is full of sh*t and CB Fry is revelling in his internoot hard man image. Without trawling through swathes of crap posts, have I missed anything else?
  10. Vic Faulkner & Bert Royal Keep the faith.
  11. Could have got Ince on a free rather than Redmond.
  12. Mother Dunno must be really proud that her 3 sons have all made your line-up.
  13. He is prepared to give the club the benefit of the doubt until 3rd August, at the moment he can't see any evidence of us improving the depth of the squad. It's totally reasonable and not that hard to understand. I have been guilty of doubting the board, but my faith in them was restored by the brilliant managerial appointment after the treacherous lying Argie left. My faith in them is being stretched again, but similar to others, they deserve my support until the end of the window.
  14. And tv money.
  15. What about the wages saved by the outgoing players?
  16. I don't understand the concept that a club is somehow powerless to stop a player leaving they have under contract. History is littered with examples of the exact opposite happening.
  17. Wish it was him that Osvaldo chinned now. He could make a hero's return after the disloyal Croat goes to the bin-dippers.
  18. I stand corrected, but that doesn't change my thinking about spending all transfer money generated at the very least.
  19. I agree with much of what you say, but selling players under contract is the club's doing.
  20. Feel very let down by the club at the moment. Whatever way you look at it, selling virtually half your side in 1 window, is a f*ck up of epic proportions. Even if it is for top dollar.
  21. At least Morgan appears to be giving us a chance, looking at the signings we make. Personally, I can't see us keeping him if we've already sold Lambert, Lallana, Shaw and Lovren. No way should we be selling half our side in the same window.
  22. Quite right. Strachan called it propoganda football.
