  1. It's so obvious to you and I , and most supporters, but why is this lost on the f^ckwits who make the final selection ?
  2. Neither do I, but wonder if Liverpool would consider a swap with Ings as part of the deal... that might be more tempting.
  3. Preferably on both the front and back.
  4. I think we could do with an upgrade in MF although not Lallana and not a priority against the other positions you mention.
  5. Definitely. You have to wonder about the sort of inept cretin employed by the club to allow such an abomination.
  6. From the OS it appears a plain red back. What utter sh!t. I've realised what UA represents, Ultimate Abortions of kits.
  7. A plain red back will make it even worse.
  8. Good attempt to defend him Cartman, but a pretty stupid stunt risking an injury I'd have thought, no matter how trivial a road offence you consider it. The police comments over his attitude seem fairly damning.
  9. Pleased for both of them. Runs the risk of the possible tapping up, or overinflating their egos to think they can earn/do better, but as a poitive it can only enhance their value if we sell.
  10. Have the skates smashed up their own city again yet ?
  11. It's his X-Factor audition... "Turning Japanese. turning Japanese ... I really think so.."
  12. Bloke top right looks a single tooth inbred.
  13. And people think RH would get him to get his head down and adopt a work ethic.Just when this theory was gaining some support on here he does a 'Flintoff' and goes off on a jolly. Being polite the blokes a "loose canon" and can't be relied upon. I'll be surprised if we don't get shot of him.

    SAYNTS

This is a one off as a return to a 1970's shirt worn by York. Why would anyone think we'd have this ? Can't see us having this as a kit in a month of Sundays.

Is this part of the fyre sale some are predicting ?
  16. You can add Spurs and Everton to that list for me.
  17. I like Poch to a point, but the prospect of Levy lauding it is more sickening than Klopp. VD I grant you is equally galling but I have to (reluctantly and begrudgingly) acknowledge his outstanding talent as a player, even if he is a slimey devious f^cker for the way he conducted his exit. (Same could have been said for Poch five years ago though to be honest, perhaps time is the healer). Plus from a personal level the spurs fans I have worked with over the years have been a far gobbier bunch than Liverpool supporters (most of whom have no connection with that city it has to be said) many of whom have been quite warm to us, even before Reed became their fairy godfather in giving them first choice on our squad.
  18. Better idea. If they are collecting Moroccan Norwegians we've got one they could add to complete the set. At a price of course.
  19. There certainly seems to be a significant 'disconnect' between those running the club and any interest in what you might loosely term the club's heritage. Fitzhugh posted on here on some years ago that the sash came about after a discussion he'd had with Andy Oldknow who was briefly part of the management before Cortese dispensed with him. At least he was prepared to consider the background of the club etc. Not sure Gao or Nelly are remotely interested in this, and the current management too timid to bring it to their attention. Wasn't someone on here telling us last season how he'd been elected to the Supporters Talking Shop (whatever it was called). Perhaps this is an issue to bring up rather than talking about the availability of pre-match burgers.
  20. Red and White quarters,a throwback to an early Southampton St Marys kit. Would have been a good choice in my view as it was just before we moved to the new stadium. Remember this. The Monaco kit was a bit of a reference to our manager at the time the vote was launced, Glenn Hoddle, who had played for Monaco. Obviously a good job we didn't choose this as GH had p!ssed off by the time we would have been wearing it at the start of the next season of course. The skates did have a campaign to rig the vote but I don't see that as a reason to disregard the vote now. Nearly 20 years later it would be quite easy to restrict the voting to ST holders & members, or those with a recorded purchase history over however many seasons or ticket purchases (ie other than those who only attend the Liverpool or Ut fixtures) to obtain a reasonable reflection of the supporters choice.
  21. UA seem to have a few of them in their Design Dept over the last few years (Keegan style apart of course).
  22. ... throw in a plain back and it really adds up to a complete abortion of a football shirt.
  23. I had assumed this was a Saint Lard mock up, but that's not the case. Where does this originate from ? The collar is absurd (not in keeping with the AZ Alkmaar kit others refer to as a template) and look to be a 70's throwback; the sleeves are presuambly borrowed from some Bournemouth offcuts. The logo and the Chinese graphics take it to an even further grade of crap though.
  24. No doubt had the scousers been singing something similar about City or whoever it would have just been passed off, if not openly praised, as another fine example of cheeky scouse wit. As others said above, they weren't too concerned singing about the Munich air disaster years ago. No. As much as I dislike Liverpool, I still hope they beat the North London Yobbos.

Are you sure on that ? In the past we've known or been able to piece together a bit of a track record, whether Chairman of Secure Retirement listed on the Stock Exchange, a banker specialising in sports investments, or even Ralph Krueger's time in ice hockey, sports business etc. But what have either Toby Steele, or the Sellman character (can't remember full name) done to give confidence ?
