Mixed bunch attended mine. I was genuinely surprised by the upper end of the ages. Bear in mind that you are only "invited" to one of these if you are driving as a 'borderline' case; I suspect you were doing 36-39 in a 40mph,Any more and you might not have the option of the course, as opposed to pimts.

So,combining the logic of the above posts, it could be said that we will have great competition for places, with the three above mentioned players competing either for a starting place that does not exist (unless we rest Lambert),or possibly two places on the bench from where they can make a 20 minute cameo appearance. I'm sure AP knows what he wants and what he is doing.

Don't know why, but I had assumed that the shirt would first be worn v Plymouth. The match v Reading is more likely to be used as a chance to show the away kit to the public.

Leeds are also rumoured to be keen on Tyson.
-
I'm not too excited by the prospect of Tyson to be honest. Your mates observations are interesting but in contrast to some of the other comments read from Forest fans. After Tyson's name was first seriously linked with us,someone put up a link to a Forest forum where the general view was less impressive, ie past his best, has lost his pace which had been his main asset, and questions raised over his attitude.Of course thats just a snapshot of opinion on an internet forum ( possibly by a poster called Alpine Forest ?) so not necessarily gospel, but not a glowing endorsement. For the £500-600,000 it might take to bring him from Forest, I suspect that would also be enough to prise Antonio from Reading which in my view would be a far better investment. Henderson might be the sort of battering ram centrefoward we need in this division. We never play well against one so it might well be a good option to have one in our own ranks.
-
Of course very few of us have seen him play. The most telling statistic however was at the time of his signing, someone posted on here that at the age of 23 or whatever, he had only made about 40 first team appearances,30 of which were for teams managed by his old man.

Wave a potential £1.5m in front of them and I'm sure they would...

Fair point in all seriousness, but it is galling that we retain a player we cannot give away...

And I blame Ottery, who posted before me,and Alpine who posted before him. I too apologise unreservedly to Anthony for any offence or embarrasment this may have caused.I shall email Nicola tomorrow suggesting a hike in ticket prices and booking fees to ensure Anthony receives the best medical attention, and rehabilitation that money can buy, probably somewhere exclusive in Switzerland, to ensure his footballing career and prospects in the top flight are not going to be jeopardised because of this unfortunate incident. Anything left over can be used for his next rehabilitation ....

I think we all know this is the clubs way of just putting our minds at ease, that despite everything and in case anyone was in any doubt,we can assure you Anthony Pulis will NOT be available for first team selection for the forseeable future. Now watch ST sales soar.

Do you think they might have time sharing on a shoulder then ?

I wonder if I can cancel my season ticket...

This geezer looks far too much like Andy Oldknow to be trusted.

And I would like to place an order for some clothes pegs and lucky heather. Should I give them my credit card number, pin number and security number off the back of the card when placing the order ?

Whilst not totally joining the doom and gloom merchants, I can share some of Alpine's concerns here. MLG avoids Alpines first point about application and mental approach on 'sh!tty mudfields' that we could not cope with last season. This is down to AP to resolve,it has nothing to do with transfers in. Other points 1)Puncheon does seem to have an attitude, even if not doubting his potential 2)All agreed, we need a quality reinforcement here 3)All players have an off day,or season.....just hope Lamber does not 4)Connolly being fit, preseason is no guarentee, and given his track record it would be foolish to rely on him staying fit for the season 5)Agree with Alpine, we need GK back up irrespective of BB being in training,he wants away, and frankly I'm not convinced that he is the longterm answer.

A marathon event in some households I expect.

Good to see that the OS is telling us something that was first mooted on here about three days ago.

That would probably get Alpine in a bit of a flap. -
