Spot on. Legend....

How’s it no fault of his own. He has a choice, sign for what Celtic think you’re worth or pick up your wages with us , but don’t play for X number of years. His choice. Id imagine most players will take the move. Far better than paying them to play for someone else.

It is an independent body with a ring-fenched budget. Dear god....

They are a-political you clown.

What happened to making their lives miserable until they fuck off. Training with the nippers, ignoring them & generally messing them about. Nowadays, players we don’t want get shipped out to another club and stay on the same wages. I’d give him the choice, sign permanently or spend the rest of your contract running round the pitch & playing in the stiffs.

I don’t think they’ll ever get over it. In the years to come they’ll appreciate the brilliance of Nigel & the resillance of Bill Cash and others who lost the first referendum. Instead of crying and whinging about the result, they should find themselves some dedicated & highly motivated people to set out on the long march to another vote.

No he didn’t.

Everyone has a price & every player would like to play for a top club in the champions league week in week out. If Pep decided DI was his top target to reclaim the title do people really think Ings would say” no, I’m happy here”. The only thing being happy & playing for his boyhood club means is he probably won’t agitate for a move, and won’t sulk , but anyone who thinks he would turn down a top club is deluded.

Was Leave.EU on Premier league shirts, did premier league players indulge in a gesture of solidarity with Nigel every game?

The poppy is in danger of becoming just another meaningless trinket worn to show how righteous the wearer is. Players that actually served in the wars and lost friends and relatives never had them sawn into their kits, so I don’t know why modern players need to. I’d much rather the country looked after its veterans a bit better, than indulging in witch-hunt’s as to who does and doesn’t wear one. Why can’t football just get back to football, and cut out the gesture politics. You can’t go to a game now without a tribute, whether a minutes silence, applause, or the supporters clapping X on Y minute. Personally, I think we’re onto something with our All Saints day, unless you’re talking about a Ted or Lawrie, let’s leave it at that. A minutes silence for those who have passed during this virus the next time we’ve a full stadium is entirely appropriate, going down on one knee every fucking game, is not. Imo.

Free speech ceased to be a fundamental principle of this country years ago. The right never really believed in it, and the left have no figures like Tony Benn around anymore.

We went to City twice afterwards & did ok, but Everton the next home game we were woeful. I did think Ralph was on borrowed time after that. Arsenal away and the 2 relegation home games after that turned it round (although Watford first half wasn’t great). Everyone has come out of this well and deserves credit. The club, Ralph & the players. Remarkable turn round.

Karl Henry, called them a “self serving far left organisation”. Is he racist, moronic & thick? Instead of swearing and throwing insults around, why don’t you take some time to read the BLM website & their go fund me page and then maybe you could take part in a serious discussion as to where their views & values are on the political spectrum.

Finished ‘undercover’ last night and unlike most Netflix series’ actually had a decent ending. Well worth watching, certainly far far better than ‘White lines’. Second series coming, so I’ll keep an eye out for that.

That’s Leicester who had just won the league and we’re playing the following season in the champions league. Not Southampton who will finish mid table.

I fear for Talk Radio now that raving pinko Stig Abell is executive editor.

Mike Graham is great, since he dropped that pantomime idiot Parry he’s really listenable. You should to his weekly chats with Peter Hitchens, it’s proper debate where Peter is allowed to speak and develop his point. Lefties don’t like him because he doesn’t agree with them. He’s a far better broadcaster than James O’Boring.

I’m old enough to remember the aftermath of the Black Power salute at the olympics. That was a genuine & brave statement that ended up with them receiving death threats and effected their futures. More recently there was Andy Flower in Zimbabwe. Millionaire footballers “taking the knee” every single game, just doesn’t cut it. It’s like the Women’s institute arranging a petition, compared to what Smith, Flower & Carlos did. Let’s see some radical protests in European games in Eastern Europe or the World Cup in Qatar.

I don’t quite see it like that. It didn’t work out because of injuries, part of him may feel it’s unfinished business. I doubt he’d turn either Manchester club, or Chelsea down. Whether they’d want him is clearly a different matter, but being a local hero and playing for his club may keep him out of an Everton or Newcastle, but won’t make much of a difference if Pep comes calling. Luckily none of the top tier of clubs look like a fit for him, or have people in place that he’ll clearly be a back up. However, If Spurs sold Kane I’d be worried, because Jose won’t give a shit about his age and he fits his work ethic totally.

There probably would be if FLA was on the club’s shirt, and each and every game a gesture was made in support of FLA.

Desperate for Bournemouth to go down.
-
Taking my Saints hat off, I reckon he’d be a good replacement for Vardy at Leicester. Would fit into Rodgers system and of course Rodgers signed him previously. Leicester & maybe Newcastle (post takeover) are the worries for me. Let’s get an extension sorted now.

It’s really great that some people have called out the BLM movement for their anti Semitic posts today. Must really get up the nose of the anti semites amongst us.
