We went to City twice afterwards & did ok, but Everton the next home game we were woeful. I did think Ralph was on borrowed time after that. Finished ‘undercover’ last night and unlike most Netflix series’ actually had a decent ending. Well worth watching, certainly far far better than ‘White lines’. Second series coming, so I’ll keep an eye out for that.

I’m old enough to remember the aftermath of the Black Power salute at the olympics. That was a genuine & brave statement that ended up with them receiving death threats and effected their futures. More recently there was Andy Flower in Zimbabwe. Millionaire footballers “taking the knee” every single game, just doesn’t cut it. It’s like the Women’s institute arranging a petition, compared to what Smith, Flower & Carlos did. Let’s see some radical protests in European games in Eastern Europe or the World Cup in Qatar.

I don’t quite see it like that. It didn’t work out because of injuries, part of him may feel it’s unfinished business. I doubt he’d turn either Manchester club, or Chelsea down.
