Another sensible appearance from Mark Littlewood on QT last night
-
Eddie Howe , but I'm not convinced he will come to us . One to keep an eye on is David Wagner at Huddersfield . He worked with Klopp at Dortmund & took over from Chris Powell in Nov . They're not tearing up the league but evidently he's changed their style & they're extremely well coached .

Schneiderlin Joins Manchester United (Official)
Lord Duckhunter replied to Bewildered's topic in The Saints
He's not as good as some on here make out . He is great in a side our level , but is only squad player level when you're looking at the top top clubs . I like the guy , long fondly back at his time here & wish him well , but the reality is he's a French Henderson. -
Correct . Look at the difference between the EEC and the EU . Nobody knows what the EU will look like in future .
-
Cheers, so only 7 clubs can qualify for Europe . Either 4 & 3 or 5 & 2
-
Spooky , I was listening to pod cast of Frank Worthingtons one today walking the dog , and I thought I bet Matt would be a good one for Kelly to do . Anyone who misses it , not all my sporting life podcasts are on iTunes . Go to Audible & they're on there , no charge but you do need to register a card as most stuff on there carries a fee . Mick's ones on there as well as Frank Worthingtons .

Spain had 5 this year

What happens if Man Utd or Liverpool win Europa and finish above us , would we still have 3 Europa Spots and therefore 8th would do it
-
Could have done with Arsenal winning that one , relying on Man Utd or West Ham now
-
The9 , did you see TCWTB & his merry men . You've given us an update on the new toilets , has Westwood updated his deodorant

How have Everton kept hold of Lukaku for so long?
Lord Duckhunter replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Bertrand has to be held up as an example of why youngsters are better off at clubs like ours . Ok, he had a champions league winners medal , but he wasted 3 years of his career . The stupid thing is had he come through our ranks , he'd probarly be at Chelsea or Man c now . These big clubs just don't have a pathway to the first team , money and prestige is the only reason parents push their nippers there . For devolopment come to a club like ours -
I really thought Costa was going to chin the ref when he got his red Regarding our game , I wasn't there . But, there is a line a commentator has to draw & I thought the plum on Solent crossed it today . He was giving personal opinions on the ref from the off . All game he was banging on about what a poor ref he is , that's crossed an impartial line imo . I'm not saying they should be all Brian Johnston and say " he'll be disappointed with his decision when he sees the replay " , but they should keep personal opinions out of it . At the end he was getting all excited that Crouch had to go , before grudgingly conceding Mason was right . As I say , I wasn't there , and he may have been shiete , but Solent got personal and I thought it unprofessional and biased

Because they play higher wages than us & also he's been hit and miss the last couple of seasons. He's also had a spell at a big club unlike the players we didn't keep, that must maker a difference in mind set . -
You're not genuinely undecided , so there's not a lot of point in you watching it . Bloke talks a lot of sense and is a passionate Saint , so what if he takes money from the tobacco industry , so does Ken Clarke , but I bet you listen to his EU views
-
I suggest anyone gunuinely undecided watches our very own Mark Littlewood on Thursdays Daily Politics . His journey from young federalist to Leave campaigner on film , followed by a solid performance with common sense answers . Leave should get him in front of the cameras more

Frank Field, Mark Littlewood, David Owen , Lord Digby-Jones, Giesele Stuart , Kate Hoey .

Funny isn't it ? When Leave people say it's inconceivable that we won't face tariffs from the EU , Remainians cry " but you don't know for sure" . Yet they know for sure Turkey won't join . Had we had this argument during the last vote , you would have said Poland & Romania wouldn't join , no way, never . You haven't a clue what the EU will look like in 50 years time and who will be a member . As for being further away , the " deal " on migrants if agreed , and it needs agreeing by all of the States in the EU , is specifically the other side of your " fact number 3" . The deal is to move them closer to the union , speeding up their accession . So what are you saying that the EU are just pretending there's a deal , when they're not going to do a damn thing about it and it changes nothing , Would the EU do that ? I thought " deals" made with the EU are legally binding ( like Cameron's one)
-
Don't talk nonsense man . The Euro can only survive if the EU becomes more integrated , not less . Everybody talks about reforms , but the only reforms that ever happen are reforms that move it further away from a Trading bloc and nearer a United States . " Ever closer union" is not just an advertising slogan or a sound bite , it's the foundations of the whole project .
-
At the moment we have " unsafe " standing so I really don't see what the issue is . Maybe the end of the Hillsborough enquiry and it's inevitable conclusion that some fans could have been saved and that the police and authorities messed up and then covered up , could be the time to draw a line under the past .

That's the bloke who owes his job to George Osborne . A bloke who said on Sky news Nov 11th 2015 "Our job is to make whatever the British people decide work. And there’s a status quo, we’re making that work and we think it is working, but if things change we will do what’s necessary.” It is also worth pointing out that he also added “the majority of the legislation and regulation applying to the financial sector in the UK is determined at EU level”, and that the EU was “a key link in the chain” by which the financial crisis affected Britain. Don't forget Cameron was also prepared to leave unless he got " substantial reform " . So his tinkering with migrants benefits must have been a major economic breakthrough to bring the Govenor onto the project fear side . I'm starting to lean towards David Owens analysis that number 10 are throwing the kitchen sink into project fear so early because their private polling is spooking them .
-
Another green thumb fan . My snap dragon signed them up and I wasn't happy about it as I thought it was a rip off . However , the garden never looked better . I'm sure with a bit of research you coukd buy the product and could do exactly what they do , as they didn't seem to do a lot, bloke used to come round occasionally and sprinkle stuff , but the lawn was green and lush .
-
Messi is a lot stronger than Juanmi . It's not to do with size , Gaston was too lightweight for the premiership . If you don't think Juanmi isn't too lightweight , you're pretty clueless .
-
Been a disappointment as I heard great things about him whilst in Malaga last summer . The locals genuinely rated the guy and thought he had real potential to do well for us . From the limited amount I've seen he looks way too lightweight for the Premiership and although it is possible for someone to bulk up and still remain skilful and quick footed , I haven't noticed him getting any stronger as the seasons gone on
-
I agree it wasn't a pen , but was point was that the decision would not have been overturned by the video ref . It wasn't a clear & obvious factual error .
